Detailed Reviews
Seclude wins because of its location. It really is secluded, tucked in a really peaceful corner overlooking the mountains. Where it wins for location, it loses because of its service and the professionalism of the staff.
We stayed in room Shishir. The room is great but there are some grave problems with the room and the most pressing of it all is privacy. Even if you decide to relax and sit in the sun just outside the room, which is supposed to be your ‘private balcony’, there is a staff room right adjacent to it and needless to say, you cant find a moment of peace because they keep using the room. There is a washing machine close to the room where each morning the clothes are washed and the staff throng the place and all you can hear is the machine for a good 2-3 hours. There was also one time when we were chilling in the ‘pvt space’ which the hotel also sells as the only room with a bon-fire, the staff started to dust their clothes and sweep the floors in the area while we were sitting!
They dont serve breakfast, lunch or dinner in the room and they have just one room with a community style table where everyone has to sit and eat. The food options are very limited as well. It gets chilly and sometimes you dont feel like going up and eating but since it is in a secluded area and you cant go out to eat, you have to then go to this one room for all your meals and eat the same variety.
The most disturbing observation was that inspite of having a pit to decompose waste, we saw the staff very casually throw beer cans and plastic bottles right down the cliff !!!
Overall, it was an average stay. The rooms are neat and Vasant and Grishma rooms are the best. My advise would be to only opt for this property if you can find availability for these two rooms as they are on a height, view is better and privacy shouldnt be an issue. Shishir really doesnt have much privacy and is avoidable even though the interiors are fine. The bon fire is also quite missable.
The property can be fabulous if they can train their staff better and understand that people go to the hills to find peace and quiet, good food and not washing machine sounds!

I booked this property to celebrate my first anniversary., which I would say a great decision :) I had booked another room however following some bad experience with an executive, Akriti, the booking manager, Rohit, gave me a upgrade to Vasant room which is the best room of the property, which was very a sweet gesture. The view from the bed the balcony was mesmerizing. The property is very well maintained and there was so much greenery with so many beautiful flowers around that it was treat to the eyes. The property is like perfect getaway from the hustle of city life! I arranged for candle light dinner in my room balcony for my anniversary and it was so special to just be there alone with your partner in the mountains at the hill top. It a great experience. Now, coming to improvement areas, the view was indeed the best the curtains were up however upon reaching on a hot June day the room was burning. So I felt, the AC should have been switched on before arrival. Further, we had requested for decoration for candle light dinner in our balcony in evening that I was told would take 30min however it was started at 7:30 pm and finished around 9:15 pm during which time we would not have our leisure in the room. I think, since the day was a sunny one (no rain) probably could have started the decor a bit before arrival or else early evening. Then the food, the snacks we ordered were pretty average! Chilly potatoes were burnt. Kababs were ok. Main course was better but not the best. Bfast was included in the package and it was great taste wise but options were limited. So that also needs to be worked upon. Cleanliness was good overall, but we did notice some dead cockroaches. Also your staff should be bit more cooperative when it comes to catering o someone's special occasions, Pawas a staff person was cooperative at first when our celebration began, but later when we wanted him to click nice pictures he was in a rush.
Overall I enjoyed my stay and my anniversary but improvements are required guys!

Wonderful property. Delicious food ! A little offbeat... so prep accordingly. It absolutely lives up to its name.
Carry a few snacks for late night munching. It’s a 9 room property and hard to catch hold of people really late. Parts are Iocked up for security reasons at night.
Lovely valley view. Rooms have very tiny heaters but beds have warm blankets which were a wonderful blessing. Perfect place to relax and unwind, grab a few drinks and have a bonfire!

Though I have always valued customer service men and the efforts they put in to serve us in the best way possible, there are times when it becomes so intolerable that even the best of yourself is infuriated. The same happened with me while spending the worst two day of my life at the Seclude Hotel based in Ramgarh
Though on the website, the Hotel seemed to be a paradise and possibly one hell of place to relax; however, the reality was severely disappointing and distressing. The details mentioned in their website cannot be further from the truth as there was no adequate parking space, no suitable way to enter the Hotel premises, provided with faulty heater and bed warmers and when complained about it, there was nothing but acute ignorance and disobliging as they ignored my complaint saying that they too didn’t know how to fix it. The situations were so bad that even water refused to run through their pipelines and for hours we had taps without any water and a geyser which was just for display as that too didn’t function. Even the TV projector was faulty and I constantly tried calling room service only to be disappointed every time by their response and ignorance. There was no buffet inspite of being mentioned on thr priority in the menu and in self ordering system they dont have 90% items available and as per the location you wont get anywhere to eat aroubd the property and when i asked about the fooding pre booking they said that tgey are sold out and the fooding will be beyond the imagination (indeed it was). There was power cut 90% of the time without any sort of back up and it honestly felt like we were back in the old dark ages when electricity was not discovered.
I was charged around 15 thousand rupees for a say of 2 days but the service that was rendered was not even of a penny’s worth. With a highly incompetent and ignorant staff which refused to cooperate come what may, they even ruined by entire trip by constantly calling me inquiring about my checkout time despite having informed them about the same during my check in. The buzzing was so much that after a point I had to switch off my phone in order to get some peace.
My experience at the Seclude Hotel based in Ramgarh was truly horrendous, full of nothing but disappointments turning my trip into a total disaster. I believe no customer who gets a break from their work and pays so handsomely for a soothing and an enriching experience should go through such a catastrophic and devastating episode. The Hotel organization must look into this and rectify their mistakes in order to sustain in the competitive hospitality market.

Dear Guest, Thank you for your feedback. We would like to clarify that your arrival at the property was around 10:30pm-11:00pm. Our staff members were there to serve you post check-in. We do agree that many times electrical appliances stop functioning, however it's so unlike that everything stopped working on that particular night and staff members were not available to assist you to their best. Your feedback surely matters to us and our aim is to provide the best experience to all our guests. We always go an extra mile to make our guests feels like home. We will surely look into the issues you have escalated and deeply regret the inconvenience that you might have had during your stay with us. Best Regards Team Seclude

Nature played it's role and the property location and view is mesmerising, however, in every human department it's a complete failure. We had booked 8 rooms out of 9 and were uncomfortable as we never had imagined. Voicing to the management, they came to rescue by shifting our group to another property in the neighbourhood and I believe this one has been put under refurbishment and maintenance. I truly hope that Seclude group can breathe life back to Ramgarh and do justice to it.

This property as the name says it all is totally secluded in terms of the location and tat one extra ratingbis just for the location itself. So starting from the top , after booking at a very high price you are not getting any call from the hotel reception about the location and when will you reach the hotel and so. And once you reach the hotel parking you are on your own as they have the board right at the parking with the phone no for you to call them. The rooms are kept in very bad state with wires all around and no housekeeping and maintenance is done in the rooms as far we have seen in two different categories we stayed by name : Megha and Simha. Food was decent and staff was very courteous. Please check before booking as neemrana ramgarh is near to this hotel only and you are treated as king and the rooms are also with amazing amenities.

I along with 3 of my friends had a stay in seclude ramgarh recently. We booked their premium rooms (Vasant, Grishma) for 3 nights. No doubt, the property was beautifully built but the services were pathetic. First of all , there were no toiletries available the day we checked in. On repeated requests, they would bring water , toiletries or food .Once we requested them to give us fresh towels, 1hour later, they came with a used towel which had stains all over . They don't respond to calls and have extremely unprofessional staff.
The premium rooms have projector which doesn't work , geysers don't work and when we complain, they hardly respond. We were extremely disappointed with the services.

The property is located at the edge of the mountain with a beautiful valley view from the rooms. However, do not expect service & facilities as you would in other places with similar room rates. We visited in Feb, when it was very cold. We had to request for a heater since its not centrally heated. If you request for bottled water in the room it is chargeable. Even if you want a small bonfire to be lit, its chargeable. But the views are lovely !!

Visited the property with my wife and 1.5 year old baby for 3 nights.
Stayed in there Vasant room which is one of the best in the property in comparison with view, area, balcony size n interior.
Overall property has 12 rooms ,which all are unique in there own sense.
There is a 45 minutes trek downhill next to the property to the river bed which itself is an experience.
Food options are descent and delicious. Must have is pahadi chicken n fried rice with manchurian.
If someone is looking for a calm n secluded stay where you want to hear birds chirping and river flow then it is a perfect destination.
Kudos to Gaurav and his team who are managing the property and hospitality very well.
They also arrange bon fire and romantic candle night dinner on additional charges of somebody wants to opt for it.
Only drawback is that they have a very small park so open area in property is not there but trust me that is compensated with having such huge balcony with that astonishing view

We went as four friends in 9-10 Nov' 19.
Seclude Ramgarh, It really is seclud.
It is situated at very pieceful place with a view of mountain.
From main road to parking, be very careful. It is (kaccha rasta) raw way and it is very slopy. After parking you need to walk down to raw way around 5 minutes that is also slopy.
This propert has many rooms based on season name in hindi. All rooms has beutiful valley view.
We stayed in room Shishir & Sharad room.
Sharad room is on 1st floor with small room and small private balcony. But Shishir room is on ground floor with good space. The room size is big with tv projector sound bar everything and room,s view is very good and pieceful. Just outside the room, it is space like your private balcony. You can also ask for private bone- fire chargeable basis. The view is very mesmerizing.
Food is average, but you can follow and instruct cook.
Overall our stay was very good and we enjoyed this quiet place away from office chaos.

No. Pets are not allowed.
Well when we went on 19th Nov , it was compulsory. Not sure about it now. Not a property for elderly people & also for a group.
Don't worry. All rooms have a view over the hills and valley. The top room is the most favourite but all rooms are really good.
No Sir, pets are not allowed.
