An interesting historic venue, originally a shop and post office now converted into a very comfortable and welcoming B&B. The 3 rooms are accessed by their own staircase and are very comfortable, clean and welcoming. Fresh milk in the rooms and excellent breakfasts made this a great place to stay whilst walking the Wessex Ridgeway. Highly recommended!

Lovely place to stay. I stayed with my boyfriend for one night for somewhere to accommodate us while visiting longleat Safari park for a two day visit. The owners are friendly, lovely breakfast with lots of choices. The bed is amazingly comfortable and everything is clean. Few small things, I find the price to be quite high for a b&b...

Excellent hosts with beautiful accommodation quirky room with very comfortable beds. Breakfast excellent well cooked full English. Owners had kept some of the old post office ledgers in the breakfast room which were fascinating to look through.

Have stayed here on a couple of occasions now. Great hospitality throughout. The rooms are also good. This time I stayed in the 'Lavender' room, which was a twin bedroom with en-suite and bath (with shower attachment - ceiling not tall enough for a shower). Breakfast was excellent, good choice of cereal and toast, along with cooked if you wish....

This is a nice little B&B located on the main street. Heytesbury is very quiet though, so being on the main street is not a problem in the slightest. There are no road restrictions, so we managed to park right outside the B&B. We had the Bluebell room, which was very nice. Everything was spotless. The shower was huge with...

Nice, clean accomadation. An old, characterful place, but done up to a good standard. Nice breakfast and friendly landlady. The b&b is located on the main road through Heytesbury and there is a most delightful riverside walk nearby and the location is lovely. Two pubs to chose from only a hop, skip and a jump away

We had never stayed here before, but the other places in the village were full. We were not disappointed. The place only has 3 bedroom rooms. We had the Primrose which has a 6 foot bed - nice! No view of note facing the place next door. There is a single parking space at the rear of the property but...

Stayed here with my partner in February whilst visiting Longleat Safari Park. The B&B was immaculate, absolutely spotless. We were shown to our room - we went for the bluebell suite. The bed was huge and very comfortable, the en suite was spotless. There were tea and coffee facilities in the room and Felicity bought us fresh milk for this....

My stay at the Resting Post was very relaxing and comfortable, this was very important as I was attending a course in Warminster, the accomindation was 5 miles form the training centre and the drive was easy. The bedroom was clean and tidy above all the bed was really comfortable, I got a great night sleep which was important to...

Stayed here for one night while working in the area. Great welcome from the owner. Room was clean and tidy, en-suite good and facilities ok. WiFi was very weak in this room and there was a note suggesting to try the breakfast room for a better signal. Breakfast was excellent, plenty to choose from, cooked breakfast to order. Would have...
