I loved this place!!!! The property is about 5 mins driving from town center and 20 mins if u walk, we rented a car so that was not a problem because we loved that it was away from the town and is very quiet and felt secluded. The property is absolutely beautiful with trees and

We enjoyed our stay here but must say that everything seems to depend on what day it is. Our room had plenty of hot water. Some apparently don't. The lounge area outside our room had a great hot water pot, a few teabags, some instant coffee - and two (only two) mugs for what coul

Located outside town, this hotel has great bones—very attractive stone and wood buildings (like lodges) connected by a boardwalk to the reception building and the dining hall. But it is ragged around the edges, the infrastructure needs attention, the rooms could use some upgradi

Situated just outside of Hanga Roa town, we were there for three nights on an all inclusive meal/ soft drinks deal and included tours and overall were quite satisfied. There are only nine rooms spread across three lodges, these being connected by wooden walkways which meander thr

Is Hare Noi still open? I just received notification from Noi Hotels indicating Mr. Petero Edmunds —who is their partner in Hotel Hare Noi’s operating company and its real state owner— has notified them, indicating that from —July 18, 2017— Hotel Hare Noi in Easter Island, Chile, does not belong to Noi Hotels.. A little troubled as I booked 3 nights there at the end of October. Has anyone else received such notice?
I would email Derek the hotel manager to get the facts. Derek Dapena. He was excellent and very responsive. Sorry this posting would not allow me to add his email. Try contact thru the hotel website.

(1) Is this hotel Hare Noi all inclusive? (2) Any opinion about Hare Noi vs Hanga Roa Eco Lodge & Spa? We are looking for all inclusives Thanks!
We also booked inclusive and glad we did because of the rain. We saw the Eco Lodge, but did not go in. From the outside, the Hare Noi looked a bit more upscale, but both are beautiful.

How is their food package options? It seems like the 3 meals/day might be overkill. Was it worth paying the extra money for convenience? Or is it easy to find places to eat or shopping on the island for snacks, etc. ?
I think 3 meals a day might be a bit too much. We did two meals, a breakfast and dinner, with my husband and 6 yo and it worked out fine. We were touring a lot during the day so lunch would have been difficult. There are a bunch of restaurants in town too.

Hi, we are planning on coming to the island in February, are rooms in this hotel air conditioned? Thank you
I was just there a few weeks ago -- I didn't see anything resembling an air conditioner. There was, however, a fan at the corner of the room.

Are rooms air conditioned?
There is no air conditioning. However with the constant breeze, we did not find it a problem.

"Rooms on the hill, eg no. 7"
"Rooms nearer the reception have fewer steps. Rooms at the top have nice views but a lot of stairs."
"Room # 1 is close to one of the major roads on the island and can be a bit noisy during summer time when doors and windows are open."
"There are only a small number of rooms, generally in groups of two. We were in one up the hill from the restaurant, which was nice."
