Was there with a group. Very nice place with good atmosphere. You get close to your neighbours and since our group was 25 persons who have never met before , this place was perfect to get to know each other.

First up, the hotel is perfectly positioned, 5 minutes walk to the bay (which has some good restaurants) and 5 minutes the other way to the main street. It is in a quiet location, especially as the rooms are well set back. The design is attractive- very Polynesian and the rooms quaint and nicely wooden. The breakfast area (there was...

Good Location but tired facilities, dirty grimy bathroom, rusty bath, threadbare small greying towels- only two small bath towels and one face towel. Walls literally made of paperboard, grouting black. Breakfast - no choice, no yoghurt, bread roll, processed cheese and luncheon meat, plus small omelet. Worst was attitude of management who tried to charge us for dirtying their towels...

We arrived Sept 10 for 3 nights , the hotel was ready to pick up us at the airport with flowers and in 20 minutes or less we were st the hotel which is well located in the Center of the town , It does look like we were in a jungle , very nice , But this early in...

If you're looking for a major luxury hotel chain, you've come to the wrong place. I happened to love the Hotel Manavai, though, because it has a very island feel to it. Yes, it's a bit rustic with wood paneling and a tiki support beam, but that's what gave it its charm. Very convenient to the main street in town....

This was booked by Rickshaw travel and was really not up to standard, in fact it was a complete dump. Staff were OK but had problems with shower which they said was fixed but wasn't. They then claimed they'd "upgraded" me by putting me in an identical room with tiny old fridge. Wifi never worked

Best convenience to the main shopping and dining street, harbor, post office, and park. There is a pool we did not use. The WiFi signal is weak. With that said, even though we overall had a great trip to Rapa Nui, we probably would not stay here again and would not recommend it to friends and family without informing them...

As most have noted the only advantage of staying here is the hotel's location close to good restaurants, car rentals, craft markets and the like. The staff was friendly and efficient although none appeared to speak a word of English. Pantomime requests worked well. The rooms are reasonably large and well appointed but have an overall musty unpleasant smell. The...

Location is good - accessible to the town. The hotel looks nice from the outside but is disgusting in the rooms. It has this nice garden, very lush, the patio restaurant makes it look nice but the rooms are gross. I travel extensively and have never stayed in anything so dirty. Dirt was layered in the furniture, on the fan,...

We already were in this hotel 14 years ago and choose the same (without knowing it!) They have expanded. The hotel main advantage is the good and central location. Rooms are bit stinky (moisture) but after one day of A/C it's better. The breakfast is rather poor although it improved during our stay... Overall it's ok price/value wise since you...
