Marcello, the owner, greeted us at the airport with a big smile, a flower lay, and a quote I'll never forget, "Welcome Home". That is how I felt during our stay at Kaimana. It's a family affair with mama in the kitchen and Marcello at the helm to help answer any questions and make you feel at home. Having found...

Marcelo welcomed us and made us feel at home right away. He has been very patient and helpfull with our questions and needs. The place is extremelly charming and clean. The breakfast was very good and was served in a charming tiki patio: we loved it! The rooms are quiet and clean, just all you need to rest. We also...

Very warm and friendly family running the inn. Never cared much for staying at small B&B or hotels but this family made you feel comfortable and taken care of yet gave you plenty of privacy. Rooms are very simple accommodations (as I understand they all are on Easter Island) but will more than meet your needs. Great location in the...

We were warmly welcomed by Marcelo at the Airport and he took the opportunity to drive us around in his van. He showed us some of the important, nearby spots where we might need in our trip, like the Bank, Tourist Information, the Markets..etc. He then explained to us what we can do during our trip, what possibilities we have...

Kiamana Inn is THE place to stay on Rapa Nui (Easter Island). Marcelo speaks english exceptionally well and is exceptionally accommodating with suggestions on things to do, explanations regarding the way things are done on the island, rides to and from the airport, etc. It is also perfectly located w/in Hanga Roa - a few hundred meters off of the...

I have to admit: Easter Island is not your normal place. The Kaimana people were very nice and helpful. That is a plus for sure. The breakfast was good and fresh. The rooms were clean though basic - that is just Easter Island *with the exception of Explora*. The only sure thing to consider is that there is a chicken...

I stayed at Kaimana for five days after sailing for 24 days from Newport Beach, California to Easter Island. We were worn out and needed a good rest. Marcelo and Sonia were great, very friendly and eager to help with anything we asked. The room was clean and the common breakfast and lounging area was a very relaxing place to...

The Kaimana Inn is not a 5 star hotel; it is a small, well run, family business. From our pickup at the airport, with the gift of a lei, to our departure, with a farewell gift, Marcelo demonstrated all the characteristics of a caring and generous host. We strongly support the recent positive reviews; we agree 100% with the reviews...

I can only repeat the same text as writen in the majority positive reviews of this hotel. Just go there and try it! We stayed at the Kaimana Inn at the same times as the authors of the...
