I waited many years to visit the Easter Island, based in the reviews of this place we booked, this place SHOULD NOT HAVE an ‘Excellence Certificate’. What I saw was a man abusing foreigners, French, German people that were in the hotel. The room was dirty, the bed linen was so old, the shower had tubes hanging, the room was...

Visiting Easter Island was a childhood dream , so i found Kaimana Inn through booking.com. Such a pleasant stay: Sonya , the owner, a beautiful and dynamic lady, greeted me at the airport upon arrival, she showed me around and gave me all the answers without even my questions. The Inn is centrally located, the room was ample and clean...

Kaimana was a very enjoyable experience. It is small, cozy & feels like home. The rooms are fairly basic, but quite large, and the common area is lovely. The breakfast starts quite late, but that is par for the course on Easter Island, and it is lovely with lots of fresh fruit. The Internet is not so fast, and it...

The owner, Marcello, was out of town, so his wife, Sonia picked us up at the airport. Lovely lady, with a great sense of humor. I am fortunate enough to speak basic Spanish, so we clicked immediately. The room was spacious and well appointed. No air conditioning, but a big fan was set across the beds. The shower worked perfectly....

We were left at the airport on arrival, until another innkeeper called the owner. Roaches the size of half dollars, window without screens reopened despite our closing them, no locks. If you forget your door key, you can open the sliding glass door next to it. The owner quoted a price for 1 wk (per my request on day 2...

My wife and I flew into Easter Island from Tahiti. Marcelo met us at the airport and transported us to the Kaimana Inn. First the good points: Marcelo was extremely helpful. He gave us transportation to and from the airport. He suggested things to do. Each morning he served a hot breakfast with eggs and meat. The room has a...

So this is a very basic bed no breakfast with a lot of charming points no some things that can be a bit annoying when visiting such an unique and amazing place as Rapa Nui. So the hotel has a nice natural feeling that blends with the ecological environment of the island. The owner is very friendly and always happy...

Convenient location in town close to restaurants and coffee shops. Great place. Marcelo makes you feel at home immediately. We communicated our arrival time and he met us at the airport with a hug and a necklace, a beautiful wooden moai on a string (I love it). He arranged return to the airport also. He was always available to provide...

Stayed 4 nights on a solo visit and was very pleased with everything. Rooms and facilities are as pictured on Tripadvisor. Clean, comfortable, simple. Friendly owner Marcelo responded promptly to emails and was waiting for me on arrival at the airport. Also made arrangements for return at end of trip. Marcelo is a good resource- he is there every morning...

Good location, lovely garden, basic room. In case it develops its service, it will be a great base to discover the island for several days. Breakfast time was 8:30-9:30, so in a morning it got no food for me because I presented myself at 9:40. And in another morning, I waited for breakfast from 8:30 to 9:05, and had to leave for...
