What a surprise, in the middle of nowhere we found ourselves a little jewel! Our villas were truly on a mountainside with the most amazing views. The lake was magic and you could pick up pumice stones right on the beach. There were 8 of us traveling Nicaragua and this is one stop that gave us time to decompress, enjoy...

Thank you for your kind comments and thank you for keeping me out of trouble with our chef by not giving away the recipe of our mango pie! It is not for sale ! Unless you buy it a piece at a time at The Grill Poolside Restaurant ! But remember that dessert is seasonal and you might not get...

The service at the Villas at Apoyo is always first rate all the employees are superb. They always treat me in very special personalized manner. I am always made to feel welcomed and appreciated, every single employee goes out of their way to pamper us whenever we stay over. I love the magnificent views and the room accomodations are always...

Thank you for your acknowledgement! The Villas have gone through a tremendous change in the last few years with new managment, renovations and a completely different concept . All those changes so suddenly has propelled us into the local spot light and here in Nicaragua, it is a sink or swim situation and we have been swimming against the current...

we stayed in the villas one night during semana santa week and it was so relaxing! The new grill/restaurant was open for business and the food, drinks and service were excellent. There were monkeys all around and the villas were clean and very comfortable.

I brought a group of 34 people to the Villas a few weeks ago and was extremely disappointed with the poor service. The place is beautiful in it's natural beauty and the Laguna is certainly worth a day trip, but the hospitality was totally lacking. We were treated like criminals as they counted every spoon and fork before we were...

Dear Naomi, We were deeply troubled by your comments concerning our Hospitality. Several comments including the Food and Beverage service you experienced at the lake side restuarant that is under a different business and not part of our hotel is beyond our control, but our hospitality is all ours and we accept the responsiblity of improving our services to you...

We enjoyed Villa # 113 for a few nights. These are apparently individually owned condominiums. The villa we rented was nicely renovated and had beautiful views and was comfortable. Some of the other villas appeared to be in good condition or in various stages of renovation or in need of renovation. The howler monkeys were very interesting and the small,...

We stayed here for 2 days immediately before Christmas and were the only people in the 50 odd villas. The villas are absolutely huge - the rooms are pointlessly massive - you can't see the TV from the bed - felt cold and impersonal - space for space's sake. Curtains were too small for the windows which added to the...

I have extensive experience staying in five star hotels in Mexico and USA so I feel that Villas Norome offers an outstanding service for the country that is located. I was told that the a new administration took over the place one year ago. The location is beautiful; monkeys howling, birds everywhere, warm waters, quiet, secluded. The casitas were super...

Here's the thing... the location is brilliant. Laguno de Apoyo is *incredibly* pretty and Norome has one of the sweetest spots on the Lake. A cool extra for us was that visiting in May, we witnessed some incredible lightning shows over the water. The staff is very kind and accommodating, but honestly outside of those facts, there is nothing else...

Thank you for taking the time and effort to review Norome. We truely appreciate all comments. Our management company recently took over the hotel. The restaurant is still owned and operated by the previous owner/operators. We are negotiating with them for a buy out and there is a pending sale of the restaurant and we hope by next hight season...

My wife and I stayed at Norome with a small group, another couple and three women, each had our own villas. Our villa was very nice, with a restricted view of the laguna and the sunrise over it.
