We understand that this hotel has undergone a 3 year refurbishment and re-opened in September 2013. Nine of us stayed here for two nights. On a previous visit we had stayed at another local hotel but we wanted to try this hotel on this occasion. For future visits, we would stay at Villa Grancassa. It has a lovely atmosphere with...

The hotel was beautifully situated near to the main piazzas but not so near as there was noise pollution. A beautiful old building which I believe was once a convent, most of the rooms had high ceilings which made it very cool. The rooms were kept spotless with bedding and towels changed. Only downside was no mirror in main bedroom,...

Visited for the Italian holiday, Ferragosto, with my Neapolitan wife, her mother and brother and several family friends. The hotel is well situated in the center of the historic town of San Donato Val di Comino. The building itself is historic, surrounded by gardens and a short walk to the churches, restaurants and other sights of the city. Rooms and...

Upon arrival we were greeted by Gian Franco, he gave us a warm welcome and showed us to our rooms which were lovely, extremely clean and...

We spent 2 nights here exploring the area on bicycles. The hotel is a wonderful old villa with lovely features. It could use a decorator's touch to raise the profile. We loved the stair case and the general ambience. The people were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast disappointed a little and encouraged us to have a cornetto elsewhere. The...

Arrived after a drive from Rome and was impressed by the look of the villa. The welcome we received was really pleasant. The interior is amazing with sweeping stone staircases, after the initial impression we were a little disappointed with our room, which had a magnificent view but overooked the kitchens and bins. A fan was provided which was welcome....

Wonderful Town with a family feel. Rooms are very nice with private bathrooms and fantastic views of the valley. Breakfast is served on a sunny terrace with flavorful coffee and delicious pastries.
