This is a beautiful lakeside property with ample open spaces and greenery all around . U can just sit and gaze at the view or go for a trek or kayaking . Buffet breakfast has limited options but the food tastes good. All the staff and especially the restaurant staff is efficient, warm and responsive. A special word for Anand who took very good care of us . Both the Indian and Italian restaurants churn out delicious food. Only 2 negatives. The wifi sucks and they could not fix it despite several complaints. And secondly the rooms were cold and the heater provided was ineffective.

So me and my wife wanted to have a peaceful anniversary which was on 28th February. So we decided to get a resort on a peaceful location and we sort of stumbled on to Naukuchiatal and Lake resort seemed one of the best options. We went with the doll house which gave us the most privacy and just was perfect with the lake view and ambience that a couple requires. Food was good but not out of the world, staff was cooperative and helped us in everything. They have a really nice view of the lake and platform sort of, for parties, engagement etc. We went with a driver and although basic but everything (accomodation and food) was complementary for him. All in all we enjoyed our stay at Lake resort. Would like to come again.
Word of advice: Get the doll house if you want privacy, otherwise they have newer properties but they are not entirely privacy oriented

We were very impressed with our first look at this place. It was calm serene, green and nicely spread out. We felt that this was an awesome place and we started planning on coming here again with a big group of friends.
But then everything went downhill from there.
The mattress was very very lumpy. And it sagged. This is simply inexcusable. I have stayed at hundreds of hotels but have never seen a worse mattress. See picture 'A'
The bedclothes were slightly damp. This can cause illness in addition to being extremely uncomfortable.
The towels were a dirty white color and also had a few stains. See picture 'B' for comparison between the whiteness of the towels with whiteness of toilet paper.
The walls are covered with stains of dampness and water seepage. See pictures 'C', 'D', 'E', ‘F’ & ‘K'
There was nothing in the shower cubicle to keep a soap or bath gel bottle. See picture 'J'
Even the menus look scruffy and dirty. (Pictures 'G' and 'H')
The cushion covers were stained. The tablecloths in the Indian restaurant are stained & the restaurant looks sad.
Overall, this resort needs serious upgradation & much better upkeep.

We stayed at the Lake Resort from 26 th Nov 2020 to 30 th of Nov 2020. Overall it was a very nice experience and would definitely recommend if someone want to spend quality time. Staff was very courteous and professional all along. We didn't experience any problems during our 4 nights stay. The food was very good and served fresh and hot. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and were big enough and a heater was also provided in the room. The property is super & the view from the property is just awesome . The hotel is located right alongside the Naukuchiatal lake and offers mesmerizing views of the lake and hills from different locations. A small 10 minutes trek from the hotel to the Naukuchiatal market along side the Naukuchiatal lake was also very pleasant. Also I would like to add that The Lake Resort and Latitude 29 by the Lake resort are a joint property. And the huge garden area at the Latitude 29 was a treat for children. However I would recommend some swings for children would be a great idea.
To summarize, one of the best hotel stays I have experienced.

Overall, staying here for 3 days was a good experience. The view from the hotel is amazing. I booked the room facing the lake, the view from it and the hotel balcony was fantastic ... the food tastes great and the staff here are very supportive and active to respond to your call.You get the cleanliness of the room at the right time without saying it. Overall it was a great experience with the hotel. I would love to see Beamtel again. Recommend to my friends and relatives

This was my 2nd visit and I stayed for 4 nights in the Doll House. As before, I had a wonderful experience overall. Spacious and hygienic rooms, scenic views all around and simple/clean food are a given at any time. The property is designed such that emphasis is given to wide & open spaces as opposed to utilising every space for accomodation to extract commercial value. Service is fast and excellent. The staff is very humble and extremely helpful. Special thanks to Harinder, Ishwar Joshi, Kuldeep, Mr Pandey, Rohit and the head chef. These guys will ensure that your stay is smooth and will do everything to ensure that your needs, if logical, are met. The property owner, Arjun personally oversees the property and is easily approachable should any concerns/issues arise. So, considering the terrain and ecosystem overall, I was more than content with my stay. Will definitely visit again.

I stayed in the property once before a long ago and chose to stay here again because of it location and uniqueness. It is well maintained, clean and COVID safety measures are well taken care of. The boutique experience this property gives is one of the best and staff service is an icing on the cake. It’s going to be my base whenever I visit Nainital.

The two of us are glad that we were suggested this place as a get away from the hustle and bustle of our home town. It's a short road journey from the nearest rail head, Kathgodam. As soon as we reached the resort, we were struck by the serenity, beautiful surroundings and cleanliness of the place. Mr Chanchal Samant of the front office gave us a warm welcome, took care of all the formalities in bare minimum time and made us comfortable in our room. The view from our Room 5 was breathtakingly beautiful with the lake and trees bathed in beautiful sunshine of the setting sun. In the morning, the lake was gloriously resplendent in various hues of the rising sun. One felt blessed walking on paths surrounded with dense and green trees with birds of various hues and colours chirping and playing. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3- day stay. A special mention must be made of the food served in the restaurant as well as the efficient food service. Enjoyed too the wide variety of items on offer in breakfast buffet. We found the food charges to be quite reasonable. The staff were very efficient and did their job cheerfully. Further, they were very polite and never said 'No' to any demand. All in all, it was a memorable holiday for us.

This was my second stay at The lake resorts and it could not have been more wonderful. Resort is located bang on the lake with a private road access. One can stroll along the lake with no vehicles or crowd to negotiate . Rooms are well equipped and spacious. Latitude cafe provides some amazing dishes besides the tasty food of the restaurant. Kayaking though not managed directly by hotel is available and coordinated by hotel itself. One can get down to boat or kayak from hotel itself. Overall a wonderful experience and it will keep pulling me back to the hotel. It is one of the most prime property and is recommended for all types of travels.

as per your kind query please be advised the weather in June is moderate. Max temp 32 - minimum 17.
Also, the resort is not equipped with AC's since it does not get hot. the rooms do have wall fans / table fans.
