I wouldn't recommend this establishment to any family's wishing to stay in the area or anyone just looking for a place to have a nice drink in this beautiful part of the country. The pub itself looks nice but is dated and has terrible beer! Not to mention that children are NOT welcome at any point in the bar area!!...

I have reviewed this pub before and given it a top rating. However after my visit last week I feel I must do a new review The service was good and the pub warm but sadly it feels quite unwelcoming. About 12 of us gathered for a communal meal and we were sat at two tables lengthways. Had these tables...

Lovely staff and a great pub with woodburners and all, very cosy atmosphere. Pub food was standard choices and reasonable quality with prompt service. My room at the top of the hotel was spotlessley clean but noise from below was not great. Fixtures and fittings were tired. Bathroom was OK. But, the place is 100's years old so its always...

The White hart is very welcoming. Warm and comfortable. Lovely warm welcome from the staff. The rooms was really spacious, the beds were enormous and there was plenty of toiletries etc. The food was very good plenty of choice from the ordinary to the more exotic meats, and reasonably priced. A special thank you to Chloe who made our visit...

Had a twin room at the top of the building. It is an old building and the room was a little shabby with signs of rough repairs especially in the en suite. Continental breakfast included but subsequently found a much nicer hotel locally with full breakfast included for the same price. Felt more like a pub with rooms than a...

Really nice hotel. Nice pint. Nice food. Nice rooms. Used this a lot whilst working in the area and the staff are really friendly. Parking is ok for cars but not so good for transit vans. Close to a Tesco express.

My wife and I spent an evening and had dinner at the White Hart. The pub it's nice and cosy, they sell some good local Ale and food was quite good. Restaurant area is well decorated and we loved the fireplace especially.

We stayed this weekend at the White Hart in Cricklade as we were visiting the Cotswolds for a short break; we must say that we found all the staff at the White Hart to be warm, very welcoming and this was a great start to our stay. The food was cooked wonderfully and there was a great choice on the...

Our walking group held our 'Christmas ' lunch here on Friday. There were about 40 of us and we had mostly chosen to have carvery which we pre-booked. This proved to be well organised and delicious. The meats - beef, turkey, pork and ham - were all excellent. They had also catered for a few vegetarians. My only complaint (...

Stayed here while walking the Thames path. Nice room, a little small, but with a big bathroom. Very old building, so be aware of the uneven floors and steps. Breakfast was tasty, but I didn't eat much because I had a long walk ahead of me.

Thank James K
