Arriving in the Himalayan Darshan resort after a long motorbike drive was such a great reward. The resort is located a few kms away from the noise and crowd of Kausani, right in the middle of the forest. The calm and quietness of the place, as well as the luxurious room gave me straight away the feeling to stay for several days. You can have great walks in the nature, from small strolls up to longer treks, or simply enjoy the mind-blowing view on the Himalayas from your private balcony. The staff is extremely friendly and professional, the food is delicious, and I have to say, this is the best paneer paratha I've ever had in my life :) .... Great for birdwatchers, nature lovers, and those in search of peaceful and harmonious environment. Do not hesitate, this is the best place in Kausani.

let me begin by saying that this property by far has the best location in kausani in terms of panoramic views of the majestic Himalayan range. from almost every corner of the property you can see the mighty trishul in its full lustre.
the host Manoj ji is one of the most hospitable people you ll meet, with a permanent smile and folded hands he ll make sure your every need (within reason) is taken care off. dint get an opportunity to meet his son Shivam as he was travelling but he took care of all our bookings and booking related queries. The food was great and the service prompt. had a wonderful experience. Me being a hobby photographer, was able to get some of the best shots I have taken from in and around Himalayan Darshan some of which I ll be sharing here. if you're looking for a holiday with some beautiful views of snow covered Himalayas with the best sunrises that you ll ever get to witness along with a relaxed and chilled ambience. this is the place to visit in kausani. I stayed at the resort for three nights last week. Got a pleasant surprise when I was upgraded to the luxury room (room with the best view of the Himalayas). It was indeed a refreshing stay at this peaceful and enchanting place, and the owner Mr. Manoj was always around to guide and assist in various activities including adventurous ones. He arranged a guide (Mukesh) for trekking to Pinnath, and this local guide showed patience and was supportive to ensure a smooth trekking. The chef and other staff need appreciation as I always got fresh and delicious food as well as courteous service. It goes without saying, the resort offers a good view of the mountains range especially in the early morning hours. Memorable experience in Kausani! Few pics....

We stayed in Himalayan darshan resort for 2 days during off season but the kind of services offered are worth appreciating. The resort was operating with full staff capacity. As the other rooms were vacant we were upgraded into the superior room. The view from the room is just breathtaking provided the sun shines brightly so the snow capped Himalayas could be seen. The food was tasty and the chef was considerate enough to serve hot food and everything was freshly cooked. The resort is built in spacious area with beautiful garden and leisure area. The only drawback as well as key strength could be its location as it is secluded from Kausani city around 6-7 kms , hence if you do not have private vehicle it could be bit challenging but otherwise if you are looking for some peace this resort is perfect for stay. Taxis are available to reach here from kausani or even if you want then hotel will book it for you. Owner of the property is also very humble and welcoming and staff are very polite and cooperative. Very nice hospitality 😊.

Our stay at Himalaya Darshan was nothing less than excellent. One of my best stays ever in the terrains with amazing food and great host. Manoj ji is a very friendly and kind host, always happy to help. The restaurant was very well maintained and the quality of food was impeccable. Cottages are very well placed and quite suitable for bird watching. Each cottage is provided with a backyard, open into lush green forest where you can sit back and enjoy your morning tea. Great views of the snow capped peaks from each cottage. I liked the luxury room more though as it was located on the top floor and offered better views of the Himalayan range. Manoj ji has got a great team together and each member strives hard to make your stay memorable. Frankly, We never expected such a perfect stay in such a remote location. The location and view of this resort is amazing. You will find Himalaya full of snow from hotel. I wish to thank Sh. Puran Singh ji and his staff for amazing hospitality and care of guests. Our stay was wonderful and one of the best stays I have had through Airbnb. The Himalayan view in addition to the host as well the staff was like a cherry on the top. The staff and the host were ready to assist us in every way to make our stay comfortable. I would recommend staying and enjoying the food specially the Kumaoni local cuisines prepared by order. Would definitely return. Thank you so much for making our stay memorable.

Excellent resort. Peaceful atmosphere. Sunrise view point from resort room. Staff most cooperative. Would luv 2 revisit time n again. Rooms very cozy neat n clean. Most important bathrooms were very clean n hygienic. Best services assured. I highly recommend this resort. Though approach road is slightly damaged its duty of local government officials to look after but u can reach easily.

We stayed for two nights last weekend. We enjoyed our stay. The waiter, Mr Dheeraj Kandpal took great care of us with fast service. The food is good and the ambience of the resort also very lovely with scenic beauty of forest and himalaya especially mount trishul. The road leading from main road to resort is not in a good condition. We had hired a kausani taxi service during our shuttle in and out of Kausani. It was relaxing for us as the driver was expert. The Kumaoni staff is very polite and humble. The Kumaoni local dishes are awesome. We would like to come again for a longer stay. Thanks!!

The view from this resort is the best view in all of Kausani. You can see the entire range of mountains in their full glory from your bed and the hospitality provided is excellent. It's so beautiful and peaceful that one doesn't feel like leaving the place at all. The food was also great and the people so welcoming that you feel like it's your home away from home. If you're visiting Uttarakhand, this resort is a must stay.
