Pros:
1. The room in the top floor is very big with very decent furnitures facing Panchachuli clearly viewed from the clear glass window.
2.The wash room with its amenities is not just excellent , it is outstanding.
3. Each room has a attached balcony to sit & enjoy the Himalayan picks.
4. Room service is prompt and adequate.
5. Staff behaviour is polite and attentive specially to mention" Manoj Ji."
6. The parking area is sufficient to park your vehicle in that hill town.
7. You need not go anywhere to watch spectacular Sun-Rise, you can just watch it from the adjacent balcony of your room.
8. The Anasakti (Gandhi) Ashram is just beside the hotel.
Cons:
1. The only cons is its restaurant named "Vaibhav". The food quality is not at all desirable practically worst. We had ordered Chicken Pakora/Coffee as evening snacks. We met with these Pakora full of bones but nominal chicken. In dinner we ordered Chicken fried rice/Paneer chilli with chapati. They offered chapati like hard sole of shoes (afterwards they acknowledged the poor quality & Manoj Ji did not billed for this). So try to avoid the restaurant.
So other than restaurant, the entire hotel is 5 Star quality to be marked "Outstanding"
The view of the majestic Himalayan range in the foreground is breathtaking
If you happen to stay here in winter, be ready to shell out rs 350 per room heater as its very cold and one cannot survive without the heater. Surprisingly, the heater charge is not included in the room price and is added to the bill using pencil by the hotel reception staff. The restaurant takes time to prepare food and its advisable to place your order well in advance to avoid waiting time.
The restaurant staff is very nice, helpful and courteous
The lawn is well kept and is a nice place for some good photographs
You can go up to the terrace for a nicer view of the peaks
There is ample parking space and the hotel and rooms are spacious enough
Good for a one time stay!!!

Food was also freshly baked on order as it was less occupied due to covid and thus took an hour for preparation but the wait was totally worth for the fresh and tasty food we got everytime. The rooms and resort were so spacious and we saw the amazing sunrise reflections on himalayas directly from hotel's terrace.
Also, each and every member was so courteous and polite.. Loved my single day stay.. Wish could have stayed more.

There is no discount of view for mountains.
Rooms have only very basic facilities.
Small Bed small wash wash room
Mattress can be improved. No fridge, No kettel.
Food over all quality to improve lot.
Staff is good help full.
Parking for car is secured. Easy to reach.
The have a nice restaurant which have sufficient variety in food. The food is little bit over priced but you will have no other option near by for food.
The staff was helpful ,but room service is the place where they can improve little bit.

Pros:
1. Rooms were of good size and clean;
2. Neat and clean bathroom with hot water availability;
3. Hotel has lot of space. Ample space outside with green lawn and bonfire;
4. Very good view from rooms;
5. Great food with very prompt service. Restaurant also has good space and with very nice interiors;
6. Prompt and professional room service. Room service members very polite, specially Sonu, who was very professional and took good care of us during entire stay;
7. Hotel was checking every night whether we need extra bed or blanket. That was very sweet gesture;
Cons:
1. Front desk is was not that active. I do not even know name of the person who was handling front desk despite staying for two nights.
2. Tea/coffee maker was not available in the room;
3. Heater was not available in the room;
4. Nobody bothered to ask for feedback when we were checking out;
Overall it was a very good stay and I would definitely like to stay in the hotel again when I visit Kausani.
Added bonus is the historic Anashakti Ashram which is located right next to the hotel. Sit in their premises viewing point to have a look at the Majestic Himalayan range . Enjoy the serenity .
