The ambience is classy but relaxed, country-esque. The staff are very professional and welcoming and they also offer a dog sitting service for those dinning. This is our second stay and I would highly recommend it. Their standard rooms are the Wharfdale rooms are they are lovely. The rooms get booked up when they are hosting a wedding so worth...

Three of us spent about three hours in this spa, we had two massages and one facial between us. Spa area was lovely and warm, however the lounge area was a lot cooler. We used the upstairs relaxation lounge which was very cosy, however, there were only 3 lounges which was a bit disappointing for other guests. Lunch was a...

The rooms were superb with lovely touches such as fruit, bottled water, cafetieres in the room etc, plus doggie...

Had a lovely overnight stay so we could make the most of Michelin star dining. It was a snowy day but with lots of blazing log fires, it was very welcoming from the moment we arrived. To escape the snow, we took advantage of the spa which was nice and warm though it is just a pool, sauna/steam room and...

Birthday. Overworked. Fed up. A bit broke. Needed pampering. Something special.... got it all - a lovely, restful, luxurious, characterful overnight break. Fantastic food in the brasserie, lovely comfy bed with great tea and biscuits in the bedroom, great massage in the spa, lovely steam, freezing plunge pool, roaring log fires, massive, tasty breakfast, gorgeous walk in beautiful Yorkshire countryside...
