This place is the antidote to corporate sameness. The place has got history, quirkiness, a relaxing garden, the best breakfast I've had for a long time, great wine list and run by a couple who are able and willing to converse. Stayed in room 5. Fantastic bed proper bedding, fluffy towels, even a couple of bottles of quality water. Great...

My husband and I have just returned from Atherstone after attending a friend's wedding. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The room was beautifully decorated and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed our chat with the chef immensely. We particularly liked the ducks who invaded the dining room! We'd definitely stay there again.

There is no doubts the best part of the stay was the food but also really great was the chef/owner coming out to see me to ask if I had enjoyed the meal and then staying for conversation as I was on my own but also allowed me to see his passion for all the ingredients used. The room was...

We booked the Chapel House as a mid-week break and what a find! A beautifully presented, small and friendly guest house with an added extra. The room we had was decorated tastefully and in keeping with the style of the old building. It was attractively and comfortably furnished, clean and a good size. We had booked for dinner in the...

Great thought has gone into making Chapel House welcoming and comfortable. Plenty of places to sit, full bookcases, and the building and furniture have lots of character. The bedrooms are clean and comfortable and the owners are friendly and helpful. Our dinner was superb. An interesting and varied menu, beatuifully cooked and very reasonably priced. Breakfast next morning was similarly...

Stayed here for a friends wedding for two nights. We were given a decent sized room, however it was not overly warm in the room (hence needed to put the electric heater on). The room had an en-suite bathroom, however it had a peculiar smell to it. The shower is powerful but the hot water is not as hot if...

Chapel house accommodated 15 of us for bed, breakfast and an evening reunion dinner. The house is gorgeous and the bedrooms charming. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is provided. The dining room was stunning - silver candelabra, sparkling glasses etc etc. Michelin star quality meals were served - I think all 15 plates were cleared by us at...

There was a group of us staying overnight for a wedding and luckily had thought to book ahead for an evening meal, which was one of the best I've ever had in a restaurant. The food and the service was excellent. The hotel is small but charming and the rooms very comfortable. The breakfast was also delicious.

Myself and my wife were taken to the Chapel House for dinner by two friends, and what a wonderful evening. Excellent food, great wine choice and superb ambience. A memorable dining experience which I hope to enjoy again in the very near future. My thanks to mine host the chef and his charming wife.

What I like about Chapel House is although it's not the modern, sleek hotel that I normally stay in, it has a homely comfort about it and you are looked after by the family who run it. Parking outside is difficult but with my offices nearby it makes this redundant, however coming here you have to look for the free...
