We are local, not visited for a while after some disappointing meals. We visited on Wednesday evening for tea. Bar was quiet and we sat in the lovely Conservatory. Staff were friendly. Good choice on the menu including smaller portions. The food was well cooked and served promptly. On the whole we enjoyed and will return again. They clearly have... More

Booked in at around 9pm Friday night, room sounded like a night club. Got room changed with minimum fuss. Shower either so hot it would take the skin off your back or so cold you could not stand under it for fear of freezing. But room at rear of annex was at least quiet. Bathroom could of done with a... Stayed 3 nights here recently in this friendly cosy hotel. Reminded me at times of the upmarket b&b's I use to stay at on the Golden Mile in Blackpool: never quite running perfectly but always getting by. My only complaint was the breakfasts. Running out of water, or juice, or tea bags, etc, etc. The food was OK apart from rubbery... More

As a member of the general pubic the last thing you want to see is staff who do not enjoy their jobs or who are being belittled by their 'manager' (I have never seen this man before). After working in the business sector for many years I have came to a realistaion that it is extremely difficult to work in... More

Nice comfortable rooms, very pleasant staff and good service. Liked the Bosworth Battle field themes with the room names and the pictures. Attended a party in the long room great service from polite and helpful staff; well done!

We stayed at the hotel for two nights, hotel is very clean and the staff very helpful. We eat in the hotel on the first night and food was excellent quality. We stayed here as a shooting party with seven of us on the first night and five on the second night Down side car park not very big.
