Amarela is a nice small boutique resort with awesome paintings and sculptures of the locals. It has a peaceful ambience that we loved. Food lacks variety but we feel are reasonably priced. The beach can't be used for swimming. They have their own small beach that they maintain but we've been to a lot of stunning beaches already that their's...

Pros: 1. The property is great in itself. Well maintainedlawns and the staff are super nice too. 2. The beach is right there and is a lovely beach 3. The hotel is very helpful and cooperative 4. The organized our dolphin viewing for us besides organizing the countryside tour. Clearly the hotel makes some margin on it but it was...

The hotel is smaller but the staff is very nice. The room is good as is the location. Their pool was the only warm pool for the whole 6 week vacation visiting 6 pools. It's an infinity pool overlooking the ocean. Really nice! The beach is real nice but not swimmable. It's too shallow for a long distance. It's good...

This lovely quaint hotel is away from all the noise and a peaceful retreat. Food was good and some specials most days. We stayed 4 nights and it was easy to get a tricycle to get to Panglao to the market and basilica and also to Alona beach. It was a short walk to some local shops and you could...

It was very peaceful and a ideal resort to just chill out and relax. The amenities are their but simple. The hotel in a few areas are need of some attention. The bedrooms are simple but...

If you are in Bohol and want something really comfortable to stay at, choose Amarela. Their staffs are very accommodating and they will attend to whatever you'll be needing, may it be about in your hotel room, Bohol tour and more. We stayed there for two nights and the room was really neat. Since we wanted a DIY kind of...

The standard room was small fit for two adults but amenities were complete. Even if we booked the smallest room, our stay at the resort was enjoyable. Would recommend to book at least two nights at the resort to try out all available amenities and to go around the resort.

Our stay in Amarela Resort was perfect. We had a corner room in the second floor and we had a beautiful view on the pool, sea and the sunrise. Amarela is offering a lot, such as snorkelling equipment, a huge library with books and films and also some games. The beach at Amarela is nice, but difficult to enter. You...

We stayed there for 3 days, enjoyed the beach and the massages that were great and not overpriced like some places. Wi-Fi is approximative like most places in the Philippines. We wish our room had a bigger balcony but it was very clean. Since the hotel is quite isolated, we ate every night at the restaurant, food was good but...

Great place to stay. The employees were nice and helpful, decent price which included breakfast & airport or nearby transfer service, good location (near beach with hilltop view) & amenities with a nice garden, rest & play areas and museum. My only minor gripe is that the wifi reception in my room was not good!

Thank Vinnie M
