We had a lovely time. Apart from the really tasty food -whatever we chose - the rooms were comfortable and not fussy. The staff helped us find an excellent guide Gaetano to take us walking up Etna. And when one of us had some trouble the owner Enzo couldn't have been more helpful. So we're going back!

I just stumbled upon it online and didn't know what to expect, cause very often, photos don't correspond the reality. We came in the evening and since it's far from other settlements, it looked like a little oasis of light on top of a hill. Beautiful, clean, well decorated in a rustic stile... I recommend it!

We are a couple with a 6 year old boy and we stayed here from the 7th to the 11th September. What we can comment is that the place is very well kept and very clean. The rooms are a good size and comfortable though the shower cubicle is a bit on the small side ( for me anyway). The...

We arrived on a Sunday afternoon so it was very busy with families dining. The reception is in the Restaurant which we soon found and checked in. The rooms are basic but perfect. It's the setting, the food, the lovely staff and amazing wines that make this place 'excellent'. At dinner the starter selection is highly recommended and our waitress...

The Etna Quota Mille was our first stop in Sicily as we wanted to begin our trip hiking in Etna Park. This Agri-turismo proved to be an excellent beginning to our vacation! It was an easy drive from Catania airport, well sign-posted (unlike other locations) and the property was just what we were looking for- peaceful, wonderfully situated in the...

Positives: Had an excellent relaxing stay at this Agri-turismo. The complex has only 6 rooms and is immaculately clean. The food is to die for, everything is fresh and tasty. For persons travelling from Malta the drive from pozzallo is about 3 1/2 hrs which makes it a decent drive up. A lot of very interesting locations are only a...

There is nothing we did not like about this farm stay. It Is absolutely peaceful and elegant. Extremely luxurious on the exterior, nestled amid perfectly manicured grounds. It is obviously designed to attract weddings and large parties. One day we returned early afternoon to relax by the pool and waterfall ( so pristine) and found 50 bikini clad young girls...

A Sicilian family invited us to have lunch there after visiting Aetna and we were treated like kings in this marvellous place. We had a symphony of never-ending antipasti followed by two different primi and 3 different meat dishes. It was one of these memorable experiences that only Italian cuisine can bring to you. That lunch alone was worth the...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Surrounded by lava and unique landscapes in the world, lies the "Etna Quota Mille" agritourism; a great place to spend own holiday immersed in nature, culture and traditions of a timeless land. The agritourism is located a few kilometers from medieval village of Randazzo, and in the middle of national park of Etna. This is a best location for quick access to the east coast of Sicily and the beautiful Taormina, both the northern coast, where you find the Aeolian Islands. Besides to Etna park, the agritourism is situated on the border between two protected areas: the Nebrodi Park, the largest nature reserve of Sicily, and the river park of Alcantara, known throughout the world for its suggestive Gorges. Another feature of the place, is the dry climate. It's like a heaven on earth, where the days are warm and pleasant and the nights cool, scented by broom and breezes of Mediterranean. ... more   less
