This is not the average place for the average hotel guest. If you like a swimming pool, newly renovated rooms and a "western" style cooking/breakfast, you should look away but if you are interested in a genuin experience with a more intellectual touch to your hotelvisit in Sicily, go here! Service was impeccable, when we first arrived they instantly booked...

Having organized wine tasting in Passopisciaro (Girolamo Russo and Azienda di Franchetti) we stayed at this lovely place. Once the family home in the middle of hectares of park and forest, the conversion to accommodation was done with taste and comfort. The sisters, Marzia, Emmanuella and Elisabetta couldn't have been more attentive of our needs. We spent an evening diving...

Welcoming, comfortable but still old style. Easy to find but once you left the main road like going back in time. In a good way. Super breakfast. Staff knowledgable about food, wine and other local products. Sat outside in the shade and relaxed. Wandered the grounds, with horses and growing vines and lots of flowers.

We spent a couple of nights there experiencing a very unique weekend in a antique Sicilian borgo. The Agriturismo is placed near the Etna Vulcano and the beautiful Randazzo village. We loved so much the atmosphere suggested by the rustic style of the borgo, the friendly and warm service managed by the Scala family. We also tasted delicious traditional dishes...

We stayed here for a night in September 2014. Beautiful housing arrangement, gorgous park, most friendly people. Our room was very pretty and stylish with dark wood and beautiful vista over the country side. Restaurant: The mushrooms carpaccio (boletus and Amanita (caesaria - not one of the poisonous family)) was absolutely phantastic. A wonderful place to stay.

Very reasonably priced - £58 pppn with 2 meals. Breakfast was average, but the dinner in the converted chapel was exquisite - home made pasta in a fennel, tomato and pork sauce, followed by the best venison I have ever eaten. The greatest surprise for me though was the gardens. Planted in the 1800s, many of the specimen trees are...

We selected this inn because of its location within a two-hour drive from the Catania Airport. We were pleasantly surprised by the beauty of the setting and the large size and comfort of our bedroom and sitting room. Enjoyed being able to walk around the beautiful grounds. The dinner and breakfast were very good. The entire property is well taken...

We stayed at this property with other couples. We were excited about the reviews but when we saw our room, it was a real disappointment. It comprised of a strange looking iron bed that took up most of the space in our small room. The bed frame was too large for the bed and extended beyond the mattress taking up...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The farm consists of a single block in which the rooms are located. All the rooms have heating systems to guard against the cold of winter; the thickness of the wall, that are in lava stones, keeps the summer heat outside. All the rooms are furnished with rustic furniture along with modern furnishings such as: LCD television, hair dryer, and...Mosquito-nets! Moreover it is possible to have cradles, box or high-chairs in every room, so to make the babies' stay more comfortable and the parent's holiday serene as well! Parco Statella was conceived to accommodate various types of guests. Besides the double-rooms there are wider and more spacious apartments for families or groups of friends, rooms for disabled people and one suite with a kitchen for long and autonomous stays. The farm is glad to receive "four legged" friends along with their owners. ... more   less
