Situated in proper market area and easy to locate. Half an hour drive from the airport and prices are average . Restaurant is in the ground floor and room service also available. Service may be improved for more convenience.

It was business visit and ruined all the joy of journey. It is not even budget hotel. Rooms are not very good. Location is in the centre of the city but very poor in hygiene and service. I was here in 2011 and don't know about any improvement recently.

We did not pre-book this place as we had an accommodation reserved in a Government Guest House but on reaching there and having taken a look at the Guest House, had to look for a hotel and these guys had rooms to offer. The location is right at the centre of the main town (City :-)) near the Police Station circle. The rooms were not too bad for the price, the biggest failure here is the service. We got the rooms for Rs.1400/- per night all inclusive and this was much cheaper than the online prices. The room service is pathetic, you have to wait for ever to get something that you order. We preferred going out and eating after experiencing the service on day 1. If you want something to work, speak to a person called Munna at the front desk who comes across to be the lone seriously service focused person there. They made arrangements for sight seeing but as you would imagine, the service was much more expensive than what you would get by directly working out with cab services / taxi operators.

We visited Citiy Centre from 28/12/14 to 01/01/15 and booked to rooms - one suite and one super delux. The suite is not of any suite category. It may be maximum called as super-delux. The horrible part is service of the hotel. In the hotel restaurant we were harrassed like anything. They did not serve full complementary breakfasts and also served food at their mershy. For example: egg poach served at 9:30am, breads served at 10:00 am and plates to eat breakfast served at 10:15am!! Breads are served and butter / pepper served on several request. We complained several occation to front desk, but nobody had a courtsey to attend our complains and serving quickly. It seems complementary breakfast was for free and it is at hotel's mershy. We asked for owners phone number, but they (Nikhil and MUnna at front desk)did not give. Finally I should say, this hotel makes our stay a nightmare. On my complain to their webside feedback form, we got a regular reply and it seemd nobody is interested to care our complaints even. If negetive rating is allowed I want to give that for this hotel.

I BOOKED my combo offer of Plane tickets + Hotel, though the room is given at 1200 Rupees to 1400 Rupees per night, Make my Trip charged 3 times more, I am aware Makemytrip cheats people.
This is 2nd time we got cheated by Makemytrip , earlier it was at GOA, now at Agartala.
The HOTEL does not give TOWELS, BED-SHEETS, and Toilet Kit, Bathrooms keep leaking, If you want to have torture every day morning as soon as you wake up, stay at City center, Agartala.
Our weak Judiciary, Long process, is making the companies like Makemytrip thrive on consumer money.
I usually do not complain, since I am regular traveler, until unless it is needed.

Booked through Goibibo for Executive AC room but was given a standard room by the Hotel management/staff as they have that room only in the same price.
The offer for discount was provided by goibibo which was exemplary but the hotel staff didn't entertained the same.
No wifi in the rooms and restaurant was also not very good.
No courtesy or good hospitality by the staff too.
Not worth at all at such high tariffs whereas other good hotels are available at lesser price.
U must check out a nearby hotel Welcome palace which is gud and low in rates with good quality food

Though they are claiming to be 3-star, it deserves a zero star, if not negative. The rooms are musty, linen is dirty, staff is unprofessional. At the same rate you can find better hotels in Agartala.
I will suggest to stay in Hotel Ginger or Rajdhani or even Welcome Palace. The last one is very close to this hotel and offer value for your money.
They have recently tied up with Makemytrip offering a package with flight to Agartala, please don't fall for it.

24 Hours Room Service. Staffs are very cordial. Hotel is located at the Heart of Agartalla, India, for short distance enjoyment place to see the Border of Indo-Bangaladesh - Aakhaura Border. Border Security Forces are also very nice to co-operate and guide you above the History of Border.

i was put up here as the ginger was not available which was my first choice in agartala due to some political meeting, the hotel is in right center of the market place and also in center of city which is the best part, you get everything in walking distance.
by going by reviews i had a negative opinion about hotel that it don't have lift and all, but the hotel does consist a lift and also the people are friendly and co-operative, they have all in house staff so you will find one or other always for your needs. laundry was good,food was fine, rooms were also decent but need to ask them to remove the carpets in room which are too old and spoiling the room appearance.
hotel is good to stay but for a short trip if you are planing to go for a family trip then i would not suggest but for a single stay and work in city ideal place

I stayed for a night in this hotel. rate is quite cheap however customer service in not up to the mark. Hotel is centrally located in town. Food is very good. Rooms are not that clean.
