This is an ideal lunch destination on the slopes, a delicious and welcomed break from skiing. Do book a table in advance. There is a genuine family feel in the restaurant and wonderful dishes to choose from, especially from their dolci selection

Wonderful hidden gem. Away from it all but hugely convenient in/out skiing. Family run with great food and great service. Nothing too much trouble for Francesca and co. We have decided to book this year on year for the same week as an early season break for just myself and my partner, we simply love it. A complete antidote to...

We came in from hiking all day and were overwhelmed by the warmth of the inn and friendliness of the hosts. The care taken to restore this old place is not typically seen in the States. The food was delicious, especially the chestnut flour gnocci.

I have visited Frantze together with my girlfriend and friends two times now - both in July - and we absolutely love it! The chalet is decorated to perfection, the rooms are great, so is the food and the service is top notch. This is the perfect place for hiking, relaxation and enjoying time with friends or family. The hostess,...

Came here for lunch after mornings skiing. I had pasta bolognaise, it was delicious however the pasta a little undercooked. The service was fast as well. The restaurant is very hidden within the piste so it is quite hard to find. I would really recommend this restaurant.

Enjoy lunch inside (or outside on sunny terrace) this beautiful old chalet made with love. The cheese and mixed cold meats plate is well well worth it's price of 9 Euros. I had a great Spaghetti Carbonara med lots of egg yolk and also asparagus sprouts. In the evening they offer (if you book in advance) an excellent three course...

Not quite on the "home run" in Champoluc this hidden restaurant is fantastic for some hearty Aosta Valley fayre. We had a variety of dishes between us and all were fantastic, washed down with a glass of beer! You will need to be a failry good skier to get back onto the piste after your lunch but well worth it.

Just back from a week at Frantze. It is really is a little gem. Francesa and her family are just delightful and nothing is too much trouble for them. The renovated "rascard" has combined the charm from its previous use as a small family farmhouse with modern day comfort. The bedrooms have everything you need and there is the added...
