The description boutique in relation to accommodation varies place to place, but this hotel fits our understanding of the term very well. Small (5? rooms), converted from a family home but retaining much of the family character. Well-appointed room with a particularly good bathroom. We had breakfast in the kitchen diner with the food cooked in front of us –... More

The hotel has a good location within 4-5 blocks of the downtown. It has a lot of character, but is also very comfortable. The rooms have good beds, hot shower, Neutrogena soaps and shampoo and nice towels. The owner is friendly too!

This is rather a converted home rather than a hotel. The owners and staff make you feel welcome and we were served breakfast before 5 am. Many hotels would not do this. The rooms are large and are decorated in accordance with the the feel and vintage of the house. As I stay in run of the mill hotels on... More

This hotel allows its guests to experience Colonial style architecture but with all the modern conveniences. Great attention to detail gives this wonderful little hotel (only five guest rooms) a very authentic feel, like stepping back in time without sacrificing modern plumbing. Hotel staff was very helpful and friendly with excellent English and the breakfast supplied was first rate and... More

We enjoyed this quiet, comfortable inn after a week in Copper Canyon. The owners are available & interested in your every need. Breakfast was great! The location allows a walk to the market, the square, or city. I sat in a little park across the street & caught up my trip diary. The price is right!

Hotel is on a quiet street, very lovely, walking distance to Cathedral, Pancho Villa house and other sites of interest. Owners are very helpful. if other guests come in late it can be noisy if your room is in the front, there are other rooms in the back, but overall this was indeed a lovely little boutique hotel that we... We (three of us) were using this hotel as a base to stay the first night and our last night on either end of a Copper Canyon Journey. It was so much more cosy and comfortable than one of the chain hotels and every room was decorated differently and tastefully with a very personal touch. There were many small details... More

A great find in a wonderful location to walk and see the city. A beautiful colonial home that is now a lovely hotel with a warm, welcome, attentive and very helpful staff. Beautifully , imaginatively decorated and still very functional and comfortable, and a lovely breakfast also! You feel very catered to but very much at home.

Thank nowmat
