Ngwenya Lodge is just 15 Km from the Crocodile Bridge entrance to the Kruger National Park. The units all have air-conditioning and the bedrooms have additional ceiling fans. The lodge has several bat hotels, which initially send shivers down the spine, until you read that each bat can eat 600 mosquitoes a night. We saw very few mosquitoes, so they...

If you are not staying in Kruger Park but are planning to visit the Southern part of Kruger I highly recommend Ngwenya Lodge. The chalets are spotless, comfortable and well equipped. You have a choice of riverview or pond view chalets. The chalets overlooking the Crocodile River offer frequent animal sightings but are often booked out and not available. (I...

This is a wonderful place to stay. It's close to crocodile bridge gate if you wish to go into Kruger national park. If not, just make sure you have a unit with a river view so you can sit on your veranda and watch the game come down to drink at the river Our unit was spotlessly clean on arrival...

Fabulous as always ! Unit overlooking Crocodile river ( never seen it so low ) . Facilities are exceptional , except for one area . The Bar has no atmosphere whatsoever , and the barman never looks happy or pleased to see guests . His political views were not asked for and unwelcome, comments about the ' Old Regime' were...

We were lucky enough to spot 2 of the BIG 5 species from the balcony, before even entering the Kruger National Park!! Such a magical place, situated right on the banks of the Crocodile River. Home to such species as: - African lions - Cape buffaloes - Nile crocodiles - White rhinos - Hippos - Giraffes - African elephants -...

I recently visited Ngwenya Lodge for the first time and i was extremely disappointed. I was disappointed that i had never been here before. We visit Kruger Park every year and we always spend a few days at a lodge outside the gate of the Kruger Park. In August we spent 3 nights at Ngwenya Lodge and it will definitely...

My second visit to Ngwenya Lodge can be described as a: " basket full of gold" The excellent location, well maintained gardens, units, and other infra structure is like gold in that basket. This gold includes all the dedicated staff members. Well done management.

Ngwenya Lodge is situated on the southern tip of the world-renowned Kruger National Park. This means that visitors don’t even have to leave the resort to see a huge variety of game species – including the famous Big Five. The river view chalets overlook a scenic floodplain, which allows for magnificent views of the area where the big cats often hunt. Our Dam and Bush view chalets are set back on the property and also have beautiful views, as they overlook tranquil dams or bush areas. Game viewing hides make game viewing on the riverfront accessible to all – so no one misses out on spotting any of their favorite wild animals. Holiday in the luxury you’re used to… The units have fully equipped kitchens with a stove, fridge, freezer and a microwave. Each unit has a television and an undercover veranda with patio table, chairs and a braai, for unforgettable get-togethers with family and friends.
