We were greeted by a young Swedish lad who spoke such brilliant english I thought he was American! And he continued to help us throughout our stay. We opted for a special of 'slow cooked pork' and it was delicious. Also lovely buffet set out for Breakfast with pancakes! Our room was in the main building so sharing a bathroom,...

Charming, comfortable, friendly hotel. Lena welcomed me, a weary traveler from the USA, and helped me feel comfortable and at home! I had an early train to catch the next morning, but she was up bright and early to serve a delicious breakfast, she even cooked me an egg to my liking. I will be back and will bring my...

Ringsjö Krog & Wärdshus is a good restaurant, I've been eating there several times the past couple of years, and we've always gotten exquisite food and superb service. This is not the cheapest restaurant around (far from the most expensive either), however the food easily holds a level to make up for prices above pizzeria level.

We stayed two nights at Ringsjö Krog & Wärdshus in July 2016, and was surprised how nice it was! Our room was located in an annex, but it was perfectly OK: A lot of space, top floor heating in the bathroom, comfortable beds (soft!), coffee and tea making facilities, a small patio with tables and chairs .... very pleasant. The...

Traditional hotel by the Ringsjo lake - beautiful views and garden. Lena leads a friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Our room was warm, spacious and airy, with a cosy ensuite, and a very comfortable bed. Everything spotlessly clean. The food was excellent - the breakfast buffet a joy to come down to every morning and the daily lunch reasonably priced...

For many years on our annual summer trip from Vienna to Stockholm and back we have tried to make a stopover at Ringsjö Värdshus. It was not always possible since it is very popular with enterprises for small conferences, seminars or retreats. The rooms are simple but very comfortable and immaculately clean. The proprietors and staff were always friendly and...

We usually stop at Ringsjö when we get off the night ferry from the continent at Trelleborg. It's about 45 minutes drive from Trelleborg but if you can go that long before breakfast it is totally worth it. A wonderful breakfast buffet with home made bread, Swedish pancakes and meat balls, home cooked preserves etc. The staff is friendly and...

Lovely proprietor who was attentive, kind and very helpful regarding places to visit. Staff were helpful too. Breakfasts were delicious, with generally more on offer than other similar hotels. The breakfast room overlooked the lake and the setting of Ringsjo is lovely. Our accommodation was not in the main hotel but a few metres away in one of several cabins....

My wife and a cousin and I stayed here in June, 2013 while doing ancestral research in Skåne. We usually choose to stay in small hotels/B&Bs for the persona; service they often afford over larger hotels. This wife-hostess and husband-chef staff gave us exactly what we wanted. The setting on a large lake is absolutely beautiful and the dining areas...

We stayed here at the recommendation of a distant Swedish cousin due to its reputation for good food as well as its proximity to ancestral locations in and around Bosjökloster and Höör. Having flown in to Copenhagen, it was an easy and interesting drive across the Øresund Bridge and through Skåne - probably an hour and a half from the...
