We enjoyed our stay overall and the adventure side of things was perfect. We had an amazing staff member at the resort pair us up with a local friend that took us on a 3hr hike for about $30 USD. We covered outstanding and challenging terrain. I would have loved to spend more time in this area. It is a...

Location is beautiful but hotel is a bit shabby. Room smelt musky, and requested 2 beds had to be requested again. Restaurant ran out of several items including vegetables. Spa was pleasant. Service was obliging and friendly. Enjoyed the stay as long as one likes a very simple hotel.

Service was friendly. Resort is a peaceful and relaxing vacation spot in tranquil surroundings. ATM on site would have been handy. Restaurant food good quality. Rooms well stocked and clean; but mattress very hard.

We love Hole in the Wall, and thought that the accommodations were fine, but there were two main complaints: wifi was not working (not the fault of local service), and the hotel really gouged us for a bottle of wine - the cheapest bottle was close to R200!

Hole in the Wall Wild Coast South Africa We came to the Hole in the Wall with measured expectations following reviews left recently. The road conditions we met getting there were not too bad at all and with some slow conditions in places we reached it easily in a 2WD The accommodation was clean and well furnished. Comfortable bed, adequate...

We had a lovely time at this holiday village. People should be careful when they write a review . Our unit was very good. We had a problem with lights in the bathroom which was immediately attended to. The staff were friendly and unit was clean and neat. We had a good welcome with tea juice and quiche. We were...

Comfy accommodation, braai at your front door. Beautiful view onto the beach. Nice to play in the waves as you can walk about 80m into the sea at low tide. Short walk to Hole in the Wall.. locals a bit of a hassle but use one as they know the area

The online and telephonic (to add an additional night) booking services were efficiently handled by the First Resorts agents who are based in Durban. The resort itself is quaint with a rustic island style atmosphere. It's a very laid back place and had only a few patrons at the time, with a mix of locals and foreigners. There are a...

This accommodation is situated quite literally in the wilderness and amidst some of the most beautiful natural and rural scenery I have ever seen. The property is also close to a flat beach and within walking distance to the magnificent Hole in the Wall. However !!!!.......upon check in, we were allocated a unit that had been assigned for repairs -...

The chalets closest to the hotel were in a terrible state in desperate need of renovations. The furniture and kitchen ware requires replacement. The roofs leaked, the other facilities are dilapidated also in need of upgrade. The locals hang around the beach entrance, bothering everyone. the beach area needs a cleanup!
