OK, a play on words from Tom Robbin’s book “Another Roadside Attraction”. I guess I’m getting giddy after writing ten reviews today from our Costa Rica trip. I am officially committing to writing reviews since I base so much of my travels on others’ reviews. Back to Toad Hall… there were tons of hand painted signs along the road from...

We couldn't pass by Toad Hall without stopping to investigate. We must have seen more than 50 signs before we ever saw the place. Wonderful food and very hospitable owners and staff. Best fish tacos ever! We toured the grounds and one of the rooms, I can't wait to return and stay! Thanks Jeff foe letting the kids make signs...

We stopped off here on it way back to Guanacaste. Food was lovely and the views spectacular. Lovely to see the small amount of wildlife rescue here, in particular the two baby toucans who will be released when they're old enough. An interesting shop selling some different items

We were randomly driving around Arenal and we kept seeing all these signs saying to go to toad hall. We decided to stop here because of the signs and it's actually a great little spot with a gorgeous view of the volcano and the lake. The food was pretty good as well.

I could write a book about our stay here, but Jeff and Lydia made this stay absolutely incredible. The hospitality is the best I've experienced and the views were second to none. Waking up in the morning to expansive views of the rainforest and hearing so many different types of tropical birds...it was epic in every way!!! Jeff made us...

We stopped here for lunch on the way to go hiking. The food was pretty awesome. We had a chicken casado and a fish casado, and it was some of the better food we had on our trip. The service was very good and everyone was very friendly. The signs leading up to Toad Hall are silly, but the place...
