Because we live in Trinidad, we have the great, good fortune of visiting Coco Reef often. It is a bit faded from it's glory days, but just exactly what a tropical vacation spot should be. The rooms are spacious and clean, the food is mostly...More

As I said on Trip Advisor the rooms are a bit tired and the shower / bath taps etc. do need a renovation or replacement. Maybe a rolling programme would be appropriate for this. I think the overall issue might be a significant drop in visitor numbers [from a local tour guide]. Beach great and loungers OK when we went. The Magdelana [on the rougher sea side of Tobago] has other issues I understand and it is a little remote.
If Tobago is your island of choice by all means go and enjoy it in the CoCo Reef.
