We were tired, needing somewhere to stop due to our travelling with no agenda apart from going to Wales. Little one noticed the sign, we went up the track, and queried vacancies and prices. The welcome was friendly and genuine. First we noticed the horses, then the parrot, and then the dogs. It was as if we were in a... More

This is a working farmhouse with all that that entails including dogs and parrots. But a great shower and food breakfast, beautiful views and right on the Path so no need to deviate other than to get supper.

Stayed here while walking the Offa's dyke path and warm welcome was much needed after first day. Perfect location for path, the aqueduct and chirk Castle. Owners were lovely and had a great nights sleep in cosy bed.

Stayed here for one night while walking the Offa's Dyke National Trail. It is right on the path so no need to divert for accommodation which is very welcome at the end of a long day. Spacious comfortable en suite room. Owners friendly and helpful drove me to the local pub for an evening meal. Good breakfast. Good value.

We stayed at Plas Offa whilst exploring north Wales, the location was perfect and the views were stunning. We were given a very friendly welcome and it was lovely to stay in a traditional old house. We were travelling with our 18m old son and we were provided with all the baby facilities we needed, especially nice we're the two... More

We were shown to our rooms even though we arrived fairly early. The rooms were airey and beautifully decorated, plenty of yummy biscuits and beverages available. Some distance from a pub, but the owner was happy to ferry us if we hadn't our own transport. The place sits right on Offa's Dyke and is perfect for tired walkers.

Having arrived after a long day's walking, Plas Offa gave us everything we needed. We were greeted with an incredibly warm welcome before being shown to our very airy, big and light room. Plas Offas is a short way out of Llangollen and the Jason kindly offered us a lift to the pub. Little did we know the mode of... More

The old farmhouse is located a short drive to Llangollen and near some nice walks which could start from the front door. Children might like the colourful pet parrots, although they are not to be approached. We liked the large, high ceilinged room. and had three restful nights. There were 'extras', like tissues, but no toiletries for the shower -... More
