The environment is beautiful. The place is good for an outing with family and friends. There is a nice play ground for children. The place has a lovely breeze. However the food was below average. I did not enjoy it.

I was much impressed by the manicured lawns behind the rooms, In my mind I was rolling and rolling on the grass. The rooms formed no first impression, but they are clean and serene (mosquitoes were really pissed the mosquito net), this is what I needed to focus on my work... and then again you cannot get better for a resident rate of $20 (bed only). The grilled meats were great (Goat and Chicken) and well priced. Night life is missing, but day life is cupped with a gym and a swimming pool. I recommend improving the rooms to above average (modernize the bathroom, closet and remove the plastic seat); provide a hot beverage complimentary set in the room, and get Safaricom fiber to guarantee non-intermittent internet. I left happy.

Room is ok for the price. At least has good hot water but shower heads are a bit dodgy. Has nice grounds and on Sundays the pool is open to the public. It can be quite busy. Has a bar that has music some nights. Keep an eye on your bill as it seems pricing for food and drinks can "Change" And they also charge for food to be delivered (room service). It's not a lot but if you have paid for the room and bought their food one would think they would bring it to you free of charge.

we were a large group of friends and wanted a most convenient place to stop over after a long journey and share a meal. I had not been at the Golden palm breeze hotel before. Loved the grounds. The chicken/ lamb meal we had was tasty and enjoyable. Tender. And oh very tasty spinach! we had our very own personal waiter. Impressed. Probably a great place to hold parties.

Hotel located close Thika Nairobi Highway, having good safe parking facilities, often we/the whole family goes there on Sundays. First we goes to the swimming pool area relaxing in the shadow of palms while the kids are swimming, when the hunger start we take grilled meat lamp/goat/chicken while we are listening to life band music -In fact a real family day with lots of quality time-

This is a popular place for trip weekend out and a weekend BBQ place. It is a place to go with whole family The meat is tender and the local food is good But no European food. The wine is cheaper than most places. Food too.
