We love Precipice Creek Station. The scenery is unbelievably beautiful. The apartment is pristine. Richard and Vladka are excellent hosts. This is undoubtably one of the best stays we had in NZ. Do not miss it!

Please note: this is a very special B&B, not a hotel as it appears to be categorized at Tripadvisor. After traveling for four weeks around the South Island, our 4 night starting stay at Precipice Creek Station is still looking perfectly. This B&B is holding up as amazingly well run: the extremely well prepared breakfast served in ones own "apartment"...

Dear Klaus & Carol, thank you so much for your review, we are very happy that you have enjoyed our place and Glenorchy itself!! Just a small clarification for our potential future guests - we actually ARE in the Bed & Breakfast category on Tripadvisor and also our B&B is not one room, but a ONE-BEDROOM APARTMENT with a living...

My husband and I recently stayed at this wonderful bed and breakfast in glenorchy. It was the nicest place at which we have ever stayed! The views were AMAZING! Mountains all around. Hikes are literally 5 minutes down the road. Very close to a lot of Lord of the Rings filming locations. We were fortunate to have clear nights and...

This place costs more than we usually pay for a place to stay, but we're so glad we decided to splurge a bit. We're a married couple in our early 60's, and we drove all over New Zealand for six weeks from mid-Oct through November, 2014 (spring season there). We'd say that Precipice Creek perhaps ties with one other B&B...

The view from the beautiful room was breathtaking. We could have sat looking out of the windows or sitting the huge gardens for many hours. We loved it here and would have loved to stay longer. I loved the really fresh breakfast with nice bread and berries. Don't miss out on spending some time in Glenorchy on your travels to...

Wonderful little B & B. Private apartment is separate from the main house. Beautiful views of the snow capped mountains beyond the perfectly designed and maintained grounds. Host Vladka Kennett is a professional tour guide and is knowledgeable about what to see and do in Glenorchy and way beyond. She made many suggestions that turned out to be perfect for...

The stay with Vladka and Richard was the perfect opportunity to explore this stunning region with many walks, the most wonderful views and a peaceful and quite atmosphere. The B&B is great and our hosts recommendations for the day program were all spot on. The view from the apartment is priceless. It was an unforgettable trip to NZL and for...

Located in quiet Glenorchy, with a beautiful view from your bedroom and living room. Kitchenette provided and good breakfast. Friendly service. Great for animal lovers, 3 friendly dogs, 1 cat, sheep and horses. Really spacious living room with modern furniture, bathroom rather small. Certainly not cheap, but a real treat after walking the Routeburn.

We stayed for 3 nights at Precipice Creek and it could not have been more brilliant. Vladka is an excellent host and her knowledge of the walks around Glenorchy meant we received expert advice to make the most of the perfect weather we luckily enjoyed. The cabin is beautiful, cosy and with a view that's unparalleled. Thanks for the enormous...
