Nice stay in Club Med Sahoro Hokkaido, very patient ski instructors and it's a good start for ski/snowboard for beginners. Severals level class provided and we can select the one suitable. Will come back again. Just one concern, suggest to clean yoga mat frequently

3 mature! Males. We did move into our own rooms this definitely enhanced our holiday. The rooms are not really set to share for older people. My expectations were low. It was a holiday for my friends to learn skiing snowboarding in an easy environment with provided lessons. Well, I went with the top snowboarding group really for company on...

Gorgeous wide easy slopes for beginners. It is not crowded as only 2 resorts use the mountain. The chair lift attendants really look after the kids getting onto the lifts. The food is delicious. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. We arrived late at night (11pm), restaurant closed, the front desk receptionist offered us some hot soup as she...

As we were ski beginners, we were recommended to try out Club Med Sahoro in Hokkaido as they provide free ski lessons. In terms of location, if you were to fly from Tokyo to Obihiro, it is another one and a half hour drive to the resort. We arranged for the pick up to/fro the resort. Firstly, the ski instructors...

There are truly no words to describe the incredible experience we just had at Club Med Sahoro. We were traveling with quite a large group, 24 in total. We were with kids ranging from 3 years to 11 years so you know it's already stressful with that amazing of kids. From the minute we arrived, we were greeted by a...

This was our first time at Club Med and are pleased to say that our expectations were exceeded by their excellent service. The setup for a ski vacation with small children is fantastic. Our kids are 12, 9 and 5 and they all enjoyed it tremendously. They skied for five days in a row and all showed tremendous progress after...

For ski beginners, I would recommend going to Club Med Sahoro. The snow condition was good, ski trainer were professional and nice, ski lessons were well organized. There are different show every night and all meals are included, so there is no need to worry about finding a restaurant or entertainment after the tiring ski lessons.

WOW. What an amazing holiday for our family. This is a place we are looking at coming to every 2 years. From fond childhood memories of my own ClubMed experience I wanted to see if they still delivered a true family holiday where both kids and parents can have a holiday. They delivered; from the amazing staff at the Petite...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Japan, the alternative winter sports world. Sahoro is a place of refinement, in full Japanese style. The microclimate that reigns over the island of Hokkaido, which has less rainfall and is cooler than the rest of Japan, ensures optimal snow cover for an intense skiing experience. And after all that skiing, revival is guaranteed, with the choice between Ofuro, traditional Japanese hot baths, and Canadian outdoor baths. Indoors you will find a heated swimming pool, jacuzzi and saunas. ... more   less
