Very relaxing place, located by the beach and lots of cafes around. You can book a nice room with a private pool overlooking the sea and beautiful views of the surrounding nature.

In some corners of the hotel it is sometimes not clean, maybe this is not a problem for those of you who stay in your room or go to the beach, without walking through the hotel area.

More a 3 star hotel, i went with my 2 brothers, i upgraded to a deluxe villa $165 aud a night glad i did, as i had a fridge and tv, other brother $115 aud a night no tv. Restaurant only has a small menu and shuts early. Toilet is run down, premise is nice, very remote- good for backpackers on a budget and surfing, closest circle k 10 minute walk.

I stayed in a sunset view room for 4 nights. The room was basic but had all I needed. View from the balcony was of the beach. Beds were hard but I did not find them uncomfortable. Room was clean. Bottles of water left every day. Shower pressure was amazing. Good air con in the room. Towels were replaced everyday.
No noise issues at night. Walked to everywhere in a few minutes along the beach.
Choice of western or Indonesian breakfast that was freshly made. View of the beach from the dining area. Pool area very nice and clean.
Staff very friendly and happy to help.
I would stay here again when in Canggu.

We booked into a standard twin room for two nights and only stayed one as it was not what we were expecting or hoping for.

The staff are lovely, helpful and accommodating. The location is better than it initially appears, it’s within close walking distance to La Barisa and other beach bars, however there is no convenience stores nearby. Local transport is also non existent, however staff from the hotel are willing to transport you in their vehicle at a small cost.

There’s a few things to note when booking this room, there is no safe, fridge or TV in the room. Whilst I understand we are in a third world country, the beds are rock hard (even compared to other hotels in Bali), the pillows and sheets were smelly. There’s also a small uncovered window that lets a lot of light in in the mornings.

The water pressure in the room was average meaning the toilet did not flush without assistance of the bidet hose. The toiletries provided are limited and appear to be refilled bottles.

Of concern, the room is locked by a key, which also has to be used to lock the door on the inside. A bit of a worry if you have to get out in a hurry.

On a positive note, the pools are beautiful, and the breakfast (set menu) is nice. The air conditioner in the rooms is also very efficient.

If you are traveling on a budget, this accommodation would suit your purpose, however it was unfortunately less than we hoped based on the reviews we read.

The whole place needed some serious maintenance. The outdoor awning fell off when I tried to lower it, the pool railing was rusted and falling off, pool towels were rags, to name a few.
More concerning though, a mouse had chewed the wire in our air conditioner. Fortunately I woke up in the night and saw sparks coming from the unit and was able to turn it off before a fire started. Subsequently we had no air con for the rest of the night and no discount offered for the inconvenience and potential risk to our lives!
There is clearly a mouse problem as we found a half chewed banana in our room the next day.
Front reception staff were not overly helpful or concerned when we pointed these things out.
The hotel is Japanese owned so any complaints to local staff go nowhere. If you want to support the Balinese economy (and not die on holiday) do NOT stay here!

They have sewer smell in a room because of bad plumbing (no p-trap in shower). They agree that problem exists but they refuse to fix it because they don't want spend money on plumbing.

I think the plumbing can be dangerous for your health because you inhale sewer gas

Hard bed. Mold on walls. Doesn't stop noise from clubs. Can't sleep and stuck with mold all night. Ahen we mention the mold they said they could move us with an extra charge, what a joke. A charge for their own laziness and health risks?? Terrible service.

Looking to get out of the hustle and bustle we booked 8 nights at the Angin Sepoi through Agoda and selected a standard single @ $80 a night.
Despite the fact we booked thru Agoda the hotel picked us up from Tuban as it is there policy that anyone staying for 4 nights or more got free transfer.
Our driver Putu was warm and friendly and spoke very good english. On arrival the first thing you notice is the spectacular view from the dining/bar area.
The standard single rooms are small with a large bathroom (fabulous shower), comfy queen size bed, TV, wardrobe and private outside courtyard.
Our room was cleaned daily to a high standard, mosquito coils outside the door and room sprayed every night and beds turned down.
There were no drawers or dvd player in the room.
The pool is cleaned daily and is 1-2m deep.
Breakfast was served from 8-11 offering either Indonesian or Western food.
Lunch and dinner are available, however, as the hotel accommodates so few guests we were requested to let them know the day before if we were eating there so they could bring in fresh produce.
What really stands out about this hotel is the service Putu, Wayan, Michael, and OOni (sorry if I have spelt that wrong) made us feel very special throughout our entire stay.
One night we came back from dinner to find a beautiful message on our bed made from towels and flowers, how good is that.
Wayan is a truly skilled waiter/florist/barman and could easily work in any deluxe hotel in the world.

Echo Beach is a 10 minute leisurely stroll down the rough track, whilst Pererenan Beach 5 minutes along the beach.
Our favourite place to eat was the Grocer and Grind at Echo which provided delicious, fresh salads, grills, burgers, sandwiches and tempting mains. Oh and cakes to die for.
The Betelnut Cafe also provides good quality wholesome food at reasonable prices. Try the dragon fruit smoothie.
Deus (bar/restaurant) 15 minute walk away has a pool table, live bands on a Sunday night, free tattoos on a Tuesday and skate ramp.
If you want to get out and about but don't want to risk it on a scooter the hotel is more than happy to call a Blue Taxi (metered) or provide transport.
We opted to try out a driver we had met Mr Ketut Derung, 08123908303, who provided transport @ 200,000RP for four hours and we travelled to The Arts Festival in Denpasar and later to Seminyak. Ketut is quite a character and loves to sing whilst driving.
Would not recommend this hotel if you want clubs, lots of shops and to be in the thick of it.
Recommended for people who want to relax, soak up the ambience and generally chill out.
We came away refreshed, relaxed and feeling like millionaires.
Overall 8/10

Having been to Bali many times I have , finally had the good fortune to stay in one of the basic rooms.
It was great!
The rooms has a courtyard that you can keep your outdoor belongings safe.
The room has a bamboo door over the top of glass doors for a black out, noise affect.
The room was on the small side, but it offers everything you need.
The bathroom only had a shower, my preference as I don't like baths in Bali, and was very large.
The staff were great!
The meals were yummy, and I received no extra charges for my meals! Bonus!!
It's beachfront!
Walkable to perenenen and echo beach via the beach.

Only disadvantage I see the map!!!
It is Not acessable from echo beach anymore, this was not the hotels doing. The road has been closed due to developments.

They do however have construction near by as new rooms are being build, but it was soooo quiet I could not fault it!
It was a lovely stay, and I really enjoyed my few days away with hubby!

Highly recommend this little resort. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the pool area is very relaxing, beautiful views and really comfortable lounge chairs.
We spent a week here and didn't want to leave. Really clean rooms, big bathroom, great breakfast.
The location was perfect for us. A 5 min walk to Echo Beach, yoga just around the corner and only a few minutes on a scooter to Betelnut cafe and other great food places.
