We stayed in Scourie Lodge for 2 nights. The house is beautiful with luxurious rooms and warm friendly hospitality. I loved the walled garden and the unique woodland behind the house. The new owners are very welcoming, always ready to assist and advise regarding the area. Highly recommended.

A well appointed room, hospitable hosts. However no reduction was offered despite plumbing problems resulting in no hot water. Not really good enough for a b&b at this price. Breakfast was fine, with raspberries from the garden a highlight. Accessible and near the hotel for meals.

I have read a very good review on the Lonely planet where it was indicated welcoming and friendly guest. Hence, I made a reservation by phone for July the 27th 2016. I mentioned I would be late, probably early evening and I have not specified the time of arrival. Upon arrival to Scourie, after several hrs driving and a terrible...

We stayed two nights at Scourie Lodge in July, the location is fantastic, by the habour but very close to the village. The owners Penny and Gerald are a lovely couple, who keep the Lodge immaculate and made us feel very welcome. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with a comfortable guest lounge. We had some problems with the hot...

Adorable and traditional B&B in Scourie, right off the bay. Amazing views from the entrance of the sunset and walking distance to restaurants/pubs. It's close to the camper van site so you'll see lots of folks enjoying the views, walking their dogs, etc. The gardens are spectacular and the history of the NZ Palm trees is very neat. Penny and...

We were fortunate to arrive at Scourie lodge early evening with our toddler and baby, without a prior booking as we were on the North coast 500 and decided to find our accommodation enroute. Penny and Gerald could not have been more welcoming and accommodating, entertaining our two year old while making up an extra bed for him. The house...

A beautiful spot in Scourie. If you are in the Northern Highlands, stop for a tour of the walked garden and prepare to be amazed. Gerald and Penny have devoted over two decades to this lovely spot and their dedication shows. The palm trees are a testament to the power of the Gulf Stream. Every conceivable fern, fruit trees, some...
