Resort is well organised with multiple low rise apartments...staff response and their service is very good even at night...but one problem of resort is of hot water...u have to take bath early otherwise u would get cold water for bath as resort have solar gyser..
This resort is by far one of the most inhospitable, inhuman and rotten customer service you will ever have the misfortune of experiencing in Goa!!! We, comprising a team of 55, unsuspectingly made the blunder of selecting this resort for our annual tour to Goa. We came here to relax and unwind expecting a welcoming stay but we were in for a shock! Unfortunately we ended up having a horrible time, due to their uncouth, rude and totally uncalled for behavior and complete lack of regard and negligence towards guest comfort and enjoyment. Just a warning out there for what you can expect if you ever make the same mistake as us to choose this spot as your stay. Here goes.. - Delayed checkin by 2 hours - Reusable bottles - Power failure - Jammed locks - Restricted dress code in swimming pool which they did not inform us in advance at time of booking - Claim to have two pools, but only one can be used, the other pool is not maintained and a dead frog could be seen in it!! - Sub standard blankets and sheets - Dirty unkept balcony - Poor water supply - Stinky, dusty hall - Impolite, rude staff behavior towards guests - Delayed check out To add to our plight, we got held back at check out time. They accused us of stealing their dirty blankets and filthy towel. They wanted to go through our bags. Their security locked the gate on us. They were so impolite and rude to us. Why would we need their dirty soiled items, when we were already so dissatisfied with their facilities? We had to speak up and take our stand, else they would have rummaged through our bags which could have taken hours, as we were a large group. Just think what kind of hotel would ever treat their guests like jail inmates!! On top of it, when we genuinely reviewed them here to give our feedback, they are so lazy that they have been copy pasting the same reply to all of us. Instead of apologising and trying to make amends, they have been threatening us of having footage of our mob behavior towards their lady staff, who was their Manager in charge. First of all, more than half our group consisted of girls and we completely refute your allegation that we behaved in unruly way towards your Manager lady. Since she was in charge, our Partner in charge had to report our grievances and complain about the rude behavior and uncalled for and baseless accusations made on us to her. You say that you made a mistake of taking on a group of 55 person at a measily price on 4 person sharing. You know what?We did not force this rate on you, you agreed for this offer price on your own. We would have gone to another better priced hotel where service is good rather than your stupid offer. Once you decide to take it on, its your duty ensure that we have a pleasant experience during our stay. But you decided that you wanted to make us suffer for agreeing to such low rates and decided to make our stay as unpleasant as possible. Never seen such cheap, low tactics. So unclassy and low standards!! You should understand that first and foremost thing being in the hospitality business is providing an amazing guest/customer experience. You claim to have survived 8 years but bad customer service can make you wind up any second, if word of this gets out. You could choose to close this matter by choosing to apologise than giving lame replies to counter our reviews. Or you can continue with trying to salvage your name despite unhappy, dissatisfied customers and lose business. Upto you. Your loss. Good luck…
An obnoxious rotten egg that looks nice outside and placed among good eggs - Thats in total Royal Assagao for you. The place provides you one of the worst hospitality experience ever in Goa. We had almost 60 people in total and still the reception was unpleasant. They acted like they had a lot of occupied rooms and was busy, but the fact was, apart from us, there were barely hand-count guests. The rooms are substandard and you never get a thing asked for like towels, sugar, tea bags and the funny reason for the same is “you are a group”. I don’t understand how these people with such a horrendous hospitality survive in Goa. Only thing to be felt “out of that” place is the restaurant. Those guys were really good and the food too was better. But the whole twist was when the housekeeping accused of us taking one of their blankets and behold, they wanted to search our backpacks for their “spot full” blanket and for that they closed the gate so some of us are held inside. From checkin to checkout, it was a downer. Families and friends, be cautious of the Royal Assagao.…
WORST PLACE EVER TO STAY Very bad experience. Too un cooperative staff. No facilities, bad hygiene, poor hospitality, arrogant team. Drinking water provided in used bottles, Blankets and beds substandard, balconies cleaned before ages, rooms full of dust, bath towels would have been white when bought 10 years ago! Denied us tea bags and sugar as we were a group, and refused to give us air conditioner in common area. The bathroom taps suddenly stopped, and had to wait half an hour to get things sorted (drenched). And guess what, they accused us of stealing one of their ages old blanket and locked 55* people (all young enthusiastic professional students and reputed professionals) inside their premises to check all of our bags??!! Seriously?????! Worst place ever to go!
They have a good property staff is good but facilities lacking Stayed for four days. There was a electricity problem on all days no proper electricity back up.very far from city. Lobby having AC fitted but non operative in such a high temperature in summer .food is average Touring cost is on higher side . Overhaul experience not satisfactory
Visited with kids n family. Place is huge and lush green with good facilities. Housekeeping is really pathetic and with untrained staff things really don't move smoothly. The food is really good and again few of the staff are really untrained to deal with the guest. My only request is to train the new joiners as to how to talk and respond to the guest queries will make things more cordial. Not as per the standard as expected by the country club property
My feedback for my booking in Royale Assagao on 2019-02-07 - 2019-02-09, 2 Rooms for 2 nights. I mentioned clearly in my bookings that we 2 couples are traveling with infants of age 9 months and 11 months so we need infant friendly rooms & services that have microwaves or induction cooker in it, so that we can make baby food, to keep it on a safer side, we were carrying an induction cooker with us and I also mentioned it while check-in at reception, the receptionist didn't respond at that time and we checked-in. We were given good rooms in the same tower where restaurant is. Property was good, rooms were good and we were enjoying our holiday till one of the room keeping/room service person entered the room and saw the induction in the kitchenette provided. He went and brought 2 of his seniors along including a lady (claiming herself as room service manager) and another man and they started arguing with us that the inductions are not allowed in the room. I requested them very politely that we are traveling with infants and we have to cook baby food every 2 hours and if you can just allow it. Instead of giving us a solution for it or being polite back to me the lady said you are not allowed to keep induction & we are very strict for our rules. When I said that I had clearly mentioned this in my booking that we are traveling with infants, she starting arguing that to whom you have informed, I said check my booking mails and ask your receptionist. I asked for a solution for this and she said our chef will cook the food for the infants (I was amazed to even listen to that). I said sorry but I cannot compromise with my baby's food hygiene levels as baby is too small to eat outside food and only my wife cooks for my baby she again said sir we cannot allow this. I mean this was heights of being rigid. Then I asked the lady if she and her staff takes responsibility that if something happens to my baby after having the food cooked by their chef, then she had no answer to it but still kept on insisting that you have to submit the induction to the hotel. I tried convincing them that baby needs food every 2 hours and even at late night; it is not feasible for us to call chef again and again every 2 hours and in the middle of the night and tell him how to cook all kinds of baby food. She had no answers to it but still was too rigid and rude to take the induction out of the room. Then I got on my nerves and asked her to call the senior manager and she came back with a senior manager who was even more weird than her. He said sir we will not allow induction cooker in the room at any cost. I again said that we are traveling with infants and you must understand this but no one was willing to understand our situation. Then I told them, if this is your behavior I will check out right away then to my surprise he had the audacity to say us that if we don't hand over the induction we will have to check out. I was really humiliated to even listen to this as I have never expected this in hospitality industry. I have stayed in 5 star hotels and even they relax their rules for infants and provide extra services. I really don't know the reason of the staff's arrogance but it was really insulting for me. The Manager was so annoying and rude that I asked him to make me connect to the GM of Hotel and he then call'd someone over the phone who claimed to be the GM of the hotel who was a little polite and sensible. After some arguments he settled on a solution that we have to pay INR 1000 for using induction cooker in the room. I agreed for it, and this was a solution that must have been offered to me before making so much heated up arguments and insults by the junior staff. If they have said that before that I have to pay for this in the very beginning, I would have immediately agreed as I cannot compromise with my baby's food hygiene. All this not just ruined my mood but my holiday. If all this was done by the hotel staff just to charge INR 1000 from me then it was even more ridiculous. Money doesn't make any difference, if I am on a holiday spending lakhs it won't make a difference to pay 1000 more but behavior matters. I would never stay in this property ever again and even recommend others to stay away from it. I was not staying there for FREE, I have paid you membership charges, I pay AMCs every year, I pay convenience charges for partner property bookings, I paid extra for my guests stay and paid for food, still this behavior.…
Very bad hotel. Below are the list of bad things: 1. Fine on hanging washed clothes in balcony. 2. Fine if any thing damaged littile bit. 3. Very bad quality of bed. Unhygienic. 4. Outside food is an offense you need to pay fine. 5. Smoking is not allowed in goa hotel royal assago. 6. Reception will say that they resolve your query but you need to chase them if you want to solve your problem. 8. And one mini bar facility is there if u used a 10 rs soda bittel even then you need to pay 600 rs. I recommend not to choose this hotel at all. Saye ur money save your time.
My journey started with Booking. Full marks to ' Sakshi'. She had time to listen, understand and act to offer a good deal. She replied communications all the time. Place is beautifully situated tucked away in wooded area of North goa . Just as we wanted. Reception was warm and polite. Helpful desk. Very kind young man very carefully took my mum in wheelchair to our room. Cannot complain about room selected by Sakshi after responding to my needs. Lift ? Yes. Proximity to dining area perfect for my 86 years young mother.Balcony to sit and soak afternoon sun was perfect. Rooms were spacious, clean , well kept and cool. Two balconies for two rooms overlooking swimming pool decked with chairs and table. AC working perfectly. My heart goes out to very helpful, eager and polite young men on duty everywhere. They looked after my mum with utmost care and considerations. To my mum it was home from home. My mum is very well internationally travelled person. Food was good for my taste. Breakfast was sumptuous and to our liking. Timings for breakfast is perfect. Dinner well served and tasty Traditional dinner time entertainment did the job well. Our day trip to Dudhsagar was economical and efficient. The spa lady Nikita and Pallavi did a good job on old body muscles of my mum. Can not find any dissatisfaction in any of these above. The things that I felt like pointing out are. An exhaust fan in bathroom could add value. Electric plugs to charge phones were hit and miss. Why not to have a locker or safe to store safely ?. Notice on card offering " unlimited laundry" for 600/-inr was bit naughty or misguiding. The small letters are TOO small for my phone camera. I had to pay extra inr for extra per piece ,I didn't mind as a holidays expense. Did not leave me broke, but it can generate ill feelings for small print. Commuting and traveling by taxi could itch the pocket and could deter frequent travel to beaches. My personal sentimental description: I was raised in Dar es salaam 50 years ago. I used to go swimming in sea from home. This stay here recalled those days. Would I recommend to someone??? " YES YES YES I WILL". Would I like to come again ??? ". YES. YES YES I WOULD ". Value for money ??? " Very good ".…
Stayed at the property for 2 nights during visit to Goa in Jan 2019. The resort has large apartments which are ideal for families. The resort deserves better upkeep and management. The staff was eager to serve but lacked training. The Front desk staff was cooperative and the check in and checkout was smooth. The hotel has enough car park. The swimming pool is a highlight and the island bar makes it complete for an idea Goa Vacation.
