We stayed in cottage 5 and 6 and would thoroughly recommend this ecoresort. The cottages are well appointed and comfortable. We all slept soundly and woke refreshed to soothing birdsong. The breakfast also deserves praise with excellent smoothies and croissants. The attached spa(run independently of the resort) is also an highlight. The sometimes loud 'cruise ship type music' tarnishes an otherwise superb experience. Nevertheless we would all definitely visit again. BTW we visited during the monsoon and everything was especially verdant.
All ingredients for a wonderful experience. Polite staff, quick service, great Mediterranean food, well kept place full of greenery, a rivulet through the property, and an efficient alert manager Edy. Visited for a lunch. Excellent food. All dishes n smoothie were fantastic. Will highly recommend this place.
Set in a jungle book landscape, sits Mojigao, which along with its superb ambience will stun you with the superior food it serves. Such a laid back atmosphere, surrounded by abundant nature, amidst absolute silence. Each one does their own thing, and fits in perfectly well to the magic this place has created. The health juices are fabulous. Each one better than the other, and the food is superlative too. My absolute favourite is the avocado toast with the poached eggs.
I’m taking the time to write a review since we absolutely loved staying in mojigao We stayed in a luxurious wooden cabin and loved the restaurant And the vibe in it We will be back !!!
From the moment u enter this beautiful place surrounded by lush greenery from all sides, u get this very peacef and positive vibes. Perched at a beautiful quiet location in assagao, very close to the popular anjuna area. It reminded me of the Ubud area of Bali. Adding to the wonderful hospitality and good food, they have beautiful options to stay also. Looking forward to staying there and cherishing more.
Noisy, insect infested, Slippery & down right risky, Poor Amenities: We came to Assagaon, and to Mojigao "Resorts" to get away from the buzz of the cities to commune with the nature but were deeply disappointed and frankly irritated by the sheer lack of provisions for patrons basic conveniences or safety and comfort. The phones in the room dont work and there is no cell coverage so if you need something for the room, you've to walk 100 meters to the front desk. The walkways were covered with green moss and were downright risky. We nearly slipped on atleast half a dozen occasions making our way to the room or the front lobby through the shrubbery. The rooms dont have basic amenities like tea bags, creamers, hair dryers, or phones that work. And then in the midst of this so-called "peaceful" resort where you commune with nature, there were drilling, hammering and all sorts of construction noises right behind our rooms starting at 8:30am!!! We had to flee our rooms to get away from the head-splitting hammering and ear-piercing drilling…
Excellent variety of breakfast and very tasty and yummy food.... very beautiful location...... beautiful flowers and surrounded by greenery and greenery... Lovely nataraja statue.... Very cooperative staff... You can get vegetarian breakfast also
Mojigao is supposed to be one of the best places in assagaon but sadly once a place picks up business it's service does not follow suit . The same has happened with mojigao. I promised a good experience to my family n brought them to mojigao and I was left with a underrated experience and a bitter taste in my mouth which may never bring me back here . My order was completely forgotten not once but twice , after several remainders I got a wrong order . The delay was beyond comprehension. All this despite me complying with their request to shift our tables.
What a beautiful place and lovely food! We went to Mojigao with no expectations! Infact went with a mindset that it if might not be food and we will go to another place. But as soon as you climb down the stairs and enter the Mojigao gates you fall in love with the place! Nested in nature. You walk down in a kind of small little valley surrounded by nature tress all around.. and get in to their Restraunt. The table tops are something to explore! Dead butterflies, shedded snake skins, some pieces of wood.. make the table top covered with clear glass. Enough for kids to explore.. The restaurant is open and spacious.. food was great. We had the Hamus thali.. was doubtful when we ordered as in Hamus and thali words combined made it weird but it was amazing! Wasn’t too strong on garlic making it just perfect to enjoy the taste of it. Later we requested the manager to show us around and she took us down and showed the rooms.. beautiful wooden individual cottages surrounded by greens making it perfect to enjoy the break. I would say it’s a must visit place for food as well as stay.…
