Even though we have become accustomed otherwise this is how an agriturismo should look and feel. The facilities are comfortable but rough, just as staying in a working farm should feel like. We stayed at a big room (#14) with two floors and space for...More
We stayed 3 nights with a family of 2 kids and thoroughly enjoyed it. The manager is named Francesco. He was incredibly helpful and spoke pretty good English (better than our Italian!). Our room had a loft with 2 single beds for the kids and...More
We found the hotel and the staff second to none in our 30 days in Sicily. Staff willing to alter dinner time to suit. The kitchen is very good. Just tell them what you like. Our room was spacious, had frig, good shower, wardrobe, ground...More
Nicely renovated "baglio" which is a fortress-like medieval farmhouse. We resided in the stallo, supposingly one of their most beautiful appartments. It was very charming. You will need a car to get anywhere. It's not far at all to Erice which is definitely worth the visit - an old walled city with a big castle (bring a sweater as it's up high!). Great views if it's a clear day. The GPS did work, but it took us on a roundabout way to go. Do your homework and know the general direction of where you want to go so you can validate the GPS is sending you in the right direction.
The agriturismo itself is wonderful! You really can't go by reviews from 5 years ago. The amenities are modern (outlets, good showers, etc.). The bed wasn't the most comfortable but that was on par with most of the places we stayed in Sicily/Italy with hard beds. The hosts are wonderful people and there is great history with this agriturismo. Ask them to show you their "museaum". Also, we arranged for a cooking class while there and it was wonderful! The pool is really large and a great place to relax. High recommend this agriturismo!

"If possible ask for a bigger room in the court yard."
