Not happy £85 a night and a dirty bathroom which had not been cleaned for paying guests. Pubic hair on the floor 1 towel for 2 people and it was old and hard. I would rather not shower. Never again. The owner seems quite arrogant too and not welcoming

Website stated check in from 2pm we arrived at 2.30 note on door from owner saying back at 3.30pm, not a good start. Looked around the village and then waited a bit, owner arrived a bit after 3.30 saying she was visiting a neighbour. Why go out when you are expecting guests, this was apparently only a social call so why could it not wait until another time. We chose our rooms we had the blue attic room and our relations had the pink room on the first floor. Our room was pleasant with a large dressing table unit with plenty of drawers and a wardrobe. Our relations were not so lucky the wardrobe was unusable due to it being full of the owners belongings, if you rent a room out you expect to be able use all of it. Our bed was comfortable but again in the pink room the bed was very hard and uncomfortable, a mattress topper would make a difference. Breakfast was freshly cooked and was tasty but again on the website it stated vegetarian breakfast would consist of Quorn sausages, eggs, mushrooms etc - no Quorn sausages were offered so only had eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes and baked beans, slightly disappointing. As another reviewer has mentioned a note of the wifi code in the rooms would be a good idea, it took a little while for the owner to find this for us. Also only 2 tables in the breakfast conservatory room so had to share a table with the single room customer, although we didn't mind some people would not like this arrangement. A small one person table could be accommodated in the space. Bathrooms were good, clean and toiletries were provided. A beautiful setting on a lovely village green.

Although sadly I did not get to stay at this B&B in the end, I can happily say that Margarette was incredibly accommodating and welcoming over email contact. When booking rooms this is exactly the kind of service that makes a stay pleasurable. Hopefully, I get the chance to stay in the future and look forward to meeting the team.

It's a long time since I have stayed b and b, in a single room so I shall keep this short and accurate Owner is welcoming. Nice person. Room is small. Small TV. Chair near door serves little purpose. Kettle. Limited milk etc Not an on ensuite. A private bath room outside. Bath shower which I personally normally avoid. Narrow steep stairs. Breakfast limited. Early 7.15am is an ask. And if you fancy a hot meal ask. If you want too eat hot food ask to use the breakfast table. I am not one for sitting on someone else's. Sitting room so this was an uncomfortable stay. For a holiday stay or small framed people. It's fine. Three pubs in 250 yards and a small shop. Bed was made each day but the cleaning, bin not emptied twice and tea not restocked. Parking outside of your are lucky. But the green has plenty of you leave before 8am. Wi-Fi is good but you have to add for the code.

A lovely situation right on the green in Rowlands Castle, in spite of the fact that it's next door to a pub, it wasn't noisy, very clean, comfortable and a good breakfast, the seville orange marmalade is superb, the front door key gave us the freedom to come and go with family time, and have picked up some tips for my own B & B in Shetland.

The decor around the whole house is very cute, the room was clean and the bed was really comfortable. The host was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast the following morning was lovely and the dining room with big open doors overlooking a beautiful garden made it even better. Will definitely return!

My business partner and I were travelling from Bedford and arrived fairly late at night. We were greeted with a really warm welcome, and were allowed to park our car on the drive. Really happy with the service that we received.

My wife likes to join hundreds of others in mad dashes across the UK countryside commonly referred to as a "Ultra Marathon". I am essentially a lazy person and have no interest in running. Consequently I find myself often having to secure accommodation for myself during these 2-3 day events whilst she ends up in a tent in a field somewhere close by. And so it was that prior to the recent "Race to The King" 2 day event starting at Arundel and ending at Winchester Cathedral I found myself looking for accomodation near to the mid way point (Compton). I tried everywhere, either too expensive, not near enough to the desried location, fully booked..the list goes on. Eventually I tried my chances through Late Rooms and found '32 The Green' in Rowlands Castle. The reviews were good, the price was right and the location was spot on, so I booked it. I arrived a little earlier than my chosen check in time so parked up outside (plenty of free on street parking either outside or close by) and walked down to "The Castle Inn" a couple of minutes walk away to sample the local ale...and delicious it was too. Returned to '32 The Green' to be met by my host, Margaret, a very pleasant lady who was easy to chat with. She gave me the free wifi code and then showed me to my room which was at the rear of the upstairs overlooked the garden, which itself provided a beautiful view. I was very impressed with the room and the amenities, although I didn't use the T.V. The bathroom was immediately next door but not shared, it was all mine. Clean and well stocked with a bath that filled quickly with nice hot water. I had a comfortable nights sleep in the lovely bed and went downstairs to the offer of cereal (which I didn't have) fresh coffee and a lovely cooked breakfast. The sausage and bacon were delicious and definately not the cheap kind you get in some places. For £55 I had myself a bargain and would not hesitate in recommending '32 The Green' and its lovely host Margaret. Truly excellent. My only regret....it's not likely I will need to visit the area again...but if I do then I won't bother looking elsewhere.

What a superb place to stay - a really friendly host - clean, tidy and very well maintained bed and breakfast venue on the edge of The Green at Rowlands Castle -- excellent breakfast in a picturesque garden. Highly recommended and only a few minutes away from Stansted Park and House.

Had to attend a Family funeral so needed to stay near by. Booked for one night. Didn't get there until 6pm but Margaret was on hand to welcome us. As you walk in it was warm and clean and shown to our room in the attic space very well appointed room with the toilet and shower room just one step across the landing. Very clean room with TV, tea and coffee facilities, comfy bed and a very affective radiator. One of the nicest cooked breakfasts l have had in a long time on par with any good hotel out there, with local made sausages and two of everything!! set us up for day. Highly recommended and would definitely book again Well done Margaret!!
