So as I continue to move away from the chain hotels, this is the latest pub/hotel I chose to stay in. The bar was great and so friendly from the staff to the locals. The food was amazing and a varied choice so I highly recommend. Also the breakfast was fit for a king and was so much I couldn’t finish it all. The room could be called rustic and although clean and comfortable, needs a bit of updating. The curtains don’t fit the windows so the sun woke me up very early. The WiFi wasn’t strong enough to meet my room (although was very good in the bar). The shower sprayed in every which way possible apart from downwards (very easily rectified). I would stay again but take some Calgon, eye mask and ask for a room nearer the WiFi extender because if I did that, this would be the find…

Great food at a lovely pub, one of the best Sunday roasts you’ll find and good prices.. the new owners and all the staff are also so friendly and helpful. FGreat location and there are lovely country walks very close by. I think

With an impending visit from family we looked around our area for somewhere nice for Sunday lunch, and picked The Robin Hood entirely on spec. Even though we only live four miles away we'd never been here before. Both my wife and I and our family members all agreed that we'd never had a better pub Sunday lunch anywhere, ever! The food was sensational and beautifully presented, the staff attentive and friendly and all in a very cosy and comfortable building. The whole experience was a delight. My wife commented on the quality of the gravy (no watery liquid here), and the chef gave us a covered bowl of some to take home! Will definitely be visiting here again - can't recommend it highly enough.

Me and my husband stayed we had a very warm welcome room was fantastic we also had evening meal very good value loving setting staff went above and beyond breakfast in morning was great freshly cook and the ladies that looked after us were fantastic will definitely be going back
