Was recommended a getaway to Six Senses Con Dao, and did not regret the decision. From landing at the airport We were taken well care of. The food was amazing, and a special thanks to the kitchen for giving us the choice to switch dinner menu on the last day. The resort is truly amazing, and the beach is stunning. All the staff is really friendly and service minded. Can totally recommend six senses for a 3 night stay

The best resort I've stayed in Vietnam after living here for 12 years as an expat. Our goal as a couple was to have a long relaxing weekend and the Six Senses surpassed all expectations in service, food, accommodations and setting! All our senses were relaxed and excited at the same time! Vietnam school was out so we saw a lot of kids, but it never diminished our experience for a peaceful stay and they looked like they had a great time also. All the staff spoke excellent English. The GM, Eric Hallin, is a veteran hotel GM with a very pleasant and down to earth demeanor who made sure all our needs were constantly taken care of through an excellent GEM (Guest Experience Manager) named Hayley! She was a Vietnamese who spoke perfect English. Although she was assigned to 5 villas it felt like she was a personal concierge who assisted us with reservations, bookings, flights and any activity we wanted to do. She was awesome! We had an ocean front 2 story villa with an infinity pool that was intelligently designed and even had its own wine fridge (dangerous!). I can't say enough about this resort and our only regret is not staying there longer! I give it the highest recommendation and cannot wait to go back!…
Before arriving, we thought we paid somewhere between 30-50% premium for the brand name. In reality, we think the amount was closed to if not more than 100%! It would rather suit a four-star to four-star-plus and definitely nothing touched the “sixth sense”! The whole resort was very worn-down, partly due to the design and mainly due to lack of renovations. Anything from corroded metalware, cracked marble , rotten bamboo soffits/claddings/panels to broken water taps.etc Then, there were private events during our stay. Given our beach-front a good hundred metres away from the restaurant, we still heard unnecessary noise from the background. Sadly, no in-advance notice from the management. Quietness only after 10pm. Service was somewhere in between good and great. We were greeted by Eric, the resort GM, and Vy, our GEM (Guest Experience Maker, or butler) from day one until we departed. Their warm welcome really enlightened our trips. Trung, an afternoon-shift-bartender, or Chien, the waiter who had the greatest smile ever, did make us feel much welcomed and relaxed just like at home! The kitchen staff at breakfast was the best locals we’ve ever met during the trip. Unfortunately, the waitresses there barely smiled. Food was good, pricey just like everything else you could find in Con Dao. This was because they had to be brought from the mainland. Then the resort doubles the price on top for the “hype”. We found their nature programs quite interesting especially the sea turtle hatching and releasing. We had to wait for their call once the batch was ready but for 2 days there was non so we opted for the same tour downtown, which turned out to be available and was quite cool instead! This resort worths a try if you could bear all the hype from fancy insta. Photos and KOLs visits. But I would definitely recommend the second most expensive boutique resort closeby.…
Wonderful Stay, overwhelmed by a staff and treatment which is hard to beat. From the GM, The F&B chef, the guest experience team, the Spa...all top notch. Wonderful location, treated under high standards regarding Sustainability \.Very well caring of our daughter, teaching her in the own Six Senses lab the needed facts and knowledges about our social and culture environment. Also taking good care of her during our Six Senses exploring tours. Highly recommend the Local Tour and the snorkeling tour with wonderful coach and trainer. Big thanks to our GEM Haley and GM Eric for giving us such a good holiday. Also for your patience to listen and sharing with us.
