I work away from home 2-3 nights a week and the Days inn hotel is the pits. Yes it's an inexpensive place to stay but the cleanliness standards are appalling. After nearly 20 mins trying to check in from a pre paid booking which the receptionist tried to take a second payment for even though I showed the the booking... More

We stayed at this Days Inn several years ago and said we would never again. Unfortunately, due to our normal Days Inn being full this weekend, we went there again. It was just as bad as before. There was new? carpet in the room, and the paintwork looked good, but the base of one bed was stained and there was a... More

My family stayed there as the base for visiting the Peak District. The staff is very friendly and we had a really good time. The restaurant catered for our son allergies and the food was top rate. We will staying there again.

We stayed overnight for a sports event in the area. Staff were very pleasant and welcoming, particularly the receptionist lady who had an "in training" badge (didn't get her name unfortunately). The restaurant next door also had nice staff and the meal was good value.

Went there last weekend. You know what you're getting in a Premiere Inn. A clean, comfortable bedroom. Large clean bathroom and this one was no different. The reception was busy on arrival but the young lady was pleasant and charming. Repaired (with many others) to the restaurant attached to the premises. I had fish, chips and peas. This was served... Great experience, and the restaurant food was excellent. The rooms are usual Premier Inn standard - and you know the standard as they are all the same. Been in one, you've done them all. Staff very friendly and obliging. The car park was up to maximum capacity, so I'm not sure where you would go if it was full.

The roadchef is expensive but its ok. Went to a lovely restaurant in Matlock which was recommended by Kate. Checkout was easy and going at 12pm is lovely for... More
