Situated on a lake just a couple of kms outside of the pretty little town of Pont L'Eveque, this hotel makes an interesting venue in the heart of Normandy. It is in very easy reach of the coast at Deauville and Honfleur as well as the ferry ports of Caen, Le Havre and to a lesser extent Dieppe. An area where... More

As part of a Brittany Ferries promotion, this hotel represented excellent value in a delightful position overlooking the lake and a just about walk-able distance into town. The staff were friendly and efficient and some, but not all, spoke good English. The room was clean and we had the luxury of an adjoining room as a lounge and although it... More

I'm afraid I was dog tired on my return car journey from Brittany so this place worked out fine for me and the two-leggers. A mile or so out of Pont-l'Eveque, its beside a lake with plenty of off-the-lead dog walking. Hotel has basic facilities but the room was comfortable enough and had space for my dog bed to be... Having read previous reviews we did have some concerns - we needn't have worried! Staff were friendly and helpful; room overlooked the very pleasant grounds, was quite large and the bed extremely comfortable - no complaints whatevere! Where the hotel really scores is in the restaurant. We had dinner on each of the three nights we were there and each... More

Staff very friendly and helpful. Quick to respond to our requests - such as needing a cot in one of our rooms. Rooms and hotel generally very clean. Unfortunately there was no availability in the hotel restaurant - so would recommend booking in advance if you want to dine there. However staff happy to recommend a few alternatives in nearby... Potentially well-located with short drives to Liseiux, Honfleur, Deauville and Pont L'eveque itself with the restaurant overlooking a lake. But with the lake came midges. Our room was on the ground floor facing a very busy main road and the only ventilation, rather surprisingly, a door - so nothing you could open at night. Not that you would want to... More

This hotel and its restaurant deserve the highest rating. Impeccable / Outstanding attention to the detail. This is, in reality, like a five stars hotel undercover... Highly recommended for both leisure/relax and business/congress events

First of all. The hotel staff depart the hotel at 10pm with no staff on site until the following morning. If you were to lose the pass and room door key how would you get in with no one on a reception. The TV is only French channels with no English or news channels from CNN or other. The rooms... More

A warm welcome awaited us by the owners of this private hotel. The owner also spoke excellent English. Although our room was on the small side, everything was very clean and comfortable, the furnishings being quaint and fitting with the French building. After our day's journey, we had a very pleasant stroll around the lake and a welcome drink from... More

We found reviews on the French TripAdviser that weren't great but either the place has improved considerably or those reviews were unfair. We thought it was a good place to stay. Friendly, helpful staff, comfortable hotel, good location and great value (through Brittany Ferries). They gave us a room for disabled people (00001) - possibly because we had our Belgian... More
