My wife and I stayed here for one night (I wish it was longer!) for our anniversary, and we had a really fantastic stay at Ten Moons. After our speedboat arrived at Pattaya Beach the hotel collected us and took us to the hotel via long tail boat (complimentary). The location of the hotel is stunning as it sits right on a more secluded part of Sunrise Beach with its turquoise waters and white sandy beaches. There’s also a island that you can swim or kayak out to straight out from the hotel.

Upon arrival at. The hotel we were greeted by the very friendly staff who have very good English skills and make sure that you are relaxed and take care of while waiting to check in.

We stayed in the Grand View room and we would highly recommend it due to the stunning views you get from the large balcony. The room included two outdoor beds on the balcony and a table with two chairs. Inside the room was a comfy king size bed, really good air conditioning, a big TV, complimentary water, a small lounge and a big bathroom (including a rain shower). The doors out to the balcony include both fly screens and glass doors.

The hotel provides complimentary snorkelling gear, life jackets and towels so you can enjoy the beach mere steps from the hotel entrance without having to lug your own gear.

There’s great selection of fresh food and drinks on the hotel’s restaurant menu.

You can enjoy walks along Sunrise Beach and either walk or catch a motor bike to the main part of town (Walking Street) which is only a short distance away.

The staff will go out of their way to ensure you enjoy your stay.

We can’t fault our stay at Ten Moons other than to say that we wished we didn’t have to leave so soon!

We have been in Thailand more than ten times and seen many places and experienced a lot of hotels. Now we can say that this family at Ten Moon has given us the best hospitality that you can wish for. Everyone working at the hotel saw us everyday, gave us five star service and made us feel at home. Our room had a fantastic view and was big and comfortable (Nr 22). We really appreciate that they have these big water bin in the room instead of small plastic bottles. Ten moon really show that they think of the environment. We also had the best Espresso Martini in the bar, thank you Ibiza guy :)

We had some lunches and dinner at the restaurant and all the food were really tasty and authentic Thai food. There was also a tuna tartar that was to die for. Think we tried all the spring rolls in the world and those vegetable spring roll at the hotel was something special, there own secret taste :)

There were always fresh towels that we could borrow for the beach and a lot of snorkelling sets that all the guest could use at all time. There was also toys for children to play with at the beach.

We are sad that we had to leave, for this time. We are going to miss all of you guys at the hotel and also our sweetest friend, Smiley. She was so nice and cosy all the time 🐕‍🦺

José, you have the best team members working with you. Wish you good luck with all your projects. Congratulations to your new fantastic website.

See you again.

From the moment we were met at beach the ferry pier to our return, the staff at Ten Moons delivered impeccable service in every possible way. Led by Jose, the reception we received and especially the restaurant staff just smashed it out of the park every day.

The accommodation is simple but good and we had a room with a decent sea view (Rm 9). Perhaps the bathrooms could do with a little improvement, but you get what you pay for, and Ten Moons is very good value for money.

The restaurant is right on the quiet part of beach and in our view by far and away beat any of the possible alternatives. In the evening you have spectacular moon views, and in our case full moon views.

The menu has an enormous range including many Thai, Italian and an incredible Spanish menu obviously heavily influenced by Jose, the proprietor. To our surprise and delight any reservations about eating non-Thai choices were entirely misplaced; honestly the tapas, the pasta, the fish were all superb and really good value.

Above and beyond that the snorkelling off the beach is as good as we have had almost anywhere. Furthermore, I’m a certified diver, and whilst I did have some good diving, I would say you often see more snorkelling, especially on the reef off Ten Moons.

If you are looking for a barefoot, unpretentious beach holiday with guaranteed weather and great food and service, this is the place.

Really enjoyed our stay at 'Ten Moons'.

The accommodation is clean offering free water fill ups each day, kettle, fridge & hair dryer.

There are fabulous views from the balcony and it's lovely to sit outside in the mornings watching and listening to the exotic birds and staring out at the sea. Bliss!

The food and service is exceptional. The staff are rushed off their feet, but lovely.

The beach was busy as we stayed at high season but it is nonetheless beautiful with clear waters and white sands

I stayed here with my 'rather large' family and we had a lovely time.

I would definitely stay here again.

The staff at Ten Moons are really, really nice & helpful and help make the place special. The resort (approx. 25 bungalows) is on a great location at the very south end of Sunrise Beach (the best beach on the island imho) which makes it more secluded from the public which is great (as Koh Lipe has become quite crowded with tourists). Sunrise Beach is crowded during the day but around sunset it’s chill & is a really nice stretch of beach to walk and enjoy a beach-side cocktail or dinner. Ten Moons’ bar & restaurant is nice and they provide a good daily breakfast (incl. w/your room) & have 2 for 1 happy hour drinks and lunch, dinner. The resort also kindly provides snorkel gear & towels & there’s supposed to be good snorkeling right off their beach (due to an atypical jellyfish bloom nobody could really go in the water there but on the other side of the island it was clear of jellies so all good). The water & beach in front of the resort is otherwise lovely. The bungalows are pretty basic (for $188/night) but do have A/C which was great. The bed mattresses are very hard (Thai-style they said) but they kindly put a topper on ours the 2nd night which helped. Still, not a luxury-feeling bed at all, just fyi, but Lipe is not really a lux place anyway so no worries! Our bungalow was at the very top of the resort (lots of stairs!) but it got a nice breeze & we could see the ocean if not the beach from our deck. The middle bungalows mostly would have no view. And if we went again I’d def. request bungalow #1 or #2 as they are right on the beach but to the far right away from the restaurant & reception on a little side beach area—sweeet. The resort also arranges pick up & drop off from where the ferry/speedboat drops you. Ten Moons seemed like one of the best places on the island esp. if you want beachside, not too big a place, and very nice service. Thanks Ten Moons!

This place really was great. From the ml ent you are met from your boat and arrive on a little secluded area of sunrise beach, you feel like you are in paradise.

The staff are amazing, so friendly. Great WiFi, lovely restaurant with all sorts of food and is really nicely decorated, with good chill out areas and sunbeds for the beach.

Our room was great - lovely balcony to sit out on and considering we were the highest bungalow up we had epic views and also felt like we could lay in bed with the curtains open as no one would see us. Comfy bed, great aircon, fridge and refillable water point in your room (yay to no plastic!)

Yes the bugs / birds and wind can be noisy at night but that is nature. If you don’t like that then don’t stay in a beach bungalow.

The only reason I am not giving 5 starts is that the shower wasn’t amazing, considering the price per night we have had nicer bathrooms elsewhere in Thailand. Also I found the music in the restaurant a little tacky - would prefer something more chilled / big of reggae but that is personal taste!

All in all it was great and we would come back for sure.

Best location on the island for a quiet getaway but close enough to town for convenience (10 min to Walking Street). We enjoyed relaxing on the private beach and went snorkelling by the rocks in the most turquoise blue water we’ve ever seen! We love the traditional Thai-style wooden bungalows and were happy they all have AC and a modern bathroom. Instead of providing plastic water bottles, they put a refillable glass water container in the room. We love that and wish more hotels would do the same! The staff are super friendly and attentive. They really made our stay most memorable! We hope you have the chance to come and experience this super laid-back and chill resort. Highly recommended!

Can't recommend highly enough. An absolutely gorgeous location with it's own private beach surrounded by nature. We stayed in a grand view room with a stunning view of the sea, surrounded by trees. Felt incredibly private and natural. Wooden walkways take you down to the restaurant (all you can eat delicious breakfast; seasonal fruits, full English, pancakes and thai food) and the resorts private beaches - we snorkelled off this beach frequently. Walking street is a 5/10minute stroll away

Ten moons takes effort to reduce plastic waste providing a refillable water tank in your room which we appreciated and the staff were incredibly friendly with great people and language skills. A free boat transfer was arranged to take us back us back to the main pier on our last day.

Come stay here, you won't regret it.

We spent 3d2n here. Friendly and welcoming staff, long-tailed boat was arranged to get us from pattaya beach to the resort on our arrival and last day departure.

We were welcomed with tropical iced drinks and explained with a map by the staff about koh lipe on our arrival. Checkin was smooth and easy.

Room was clean and bed was soft. Best for couple to stay. What I love is instead of drinking water in plastic bottles, the resort equipped the room with a 10L glass container of drinking water and it's refillable.

Sand was white and way more fine compared to other sides of the beach. I would say that we had the best beach and view on the island. It's secluded, quiet and FREE of boats! No boat parked at our beach and it felt even more private.

Free snorkeling gears were provided to snorkel infront of the resort and for private snorkeling day trip. We arranged a private snorkeling trip with the resort and it was worthwhile. The day trip was guided by the long-tailed boat captain and assisted by a cute little boy. The captain went into the sea with us for each stop and showed my boyfriend and I the good spots for beautiful corals and marines. Highly recommended for private snorkeling trip as you can go by your own schedule and pace.

The stay came with breakfast. Ala carte style but unlimited order. The food was pretty decent and we explored almost everything on the menu for 2 mornings. They had basic breakfast from western style like eggs, toast, bacon, pancake, french toast to asian's like porridge, stir fried noodles and fried rice.

Around 10 mins walk to the walking street.

I would stay with Ten Moons again if I come back to Koh Lipe!

We stayed a week at Ten Moons after doing extensive research on where the most gorgeous beach in Thailand was. It did not disappoint. The beach was out of this world pretty. To put it in comparison, my husband and I traveled to the maldives a month later and I still thought the beach at Ten Moons was better in some ways, like a bit more swimmable for the casual beach lounger person.

The accomodation is on the basic side but the beachfront room we had was literally on the beach and we LOVED it. We did yoga and exercises from our balcony overlooking the water, and fell asleep to the waves. In addition, the staff were so friendly and the (manager? owner?) was so kind! We felt very well cared for. Their discount on food was also very appreciated.

Overall this was our favorite place in Thailand, which is saying something since we traveled through Thailand for two months straight. Definitely worth the long journey to get here. We plan on returning in the next couple of years. Thank you, Ten Moons!!!

Hi Suzanne!! Yes, from Bangkok to Lipe Hat Yai airport is the best option. You have around 25 daily flights. In Hat Yai you must take minivan or private taxi to Patbara Port(90 minutes). Then you get the boat to Lipe (9:30 am; 11:30 am; 13:30 and 15:30). Good luck! We wait for you!
