We just returned from several wonderful days at the Tas Otel in Alacati. The hotel is beautiful and tranquil, but our favorite parts were the hospitality, the breakfast and the afternoon tea! Zeynep and her team did everything to make sure we enjoyed our stay. We recommend it highly!

We visited the Cesme Peninsula on the last leg of our honeymoon in Turkey. We had a fantastic time at the Alacati Tas Otel. The area is beautiful, the hotel is wonderful, and Zeynip is an incredible host. What more could you ask for?

My daughter and I spent a week at Tas Otel. It is perfect. Beautiful rooms, wonderful staff and all in a truly lovely area. The breakfast is delicious and the afternoon tea is a must. I have tried to make the lemon cake since our return... misses the Alacati magic but still yummy. The nearby beaches are unspoilt and easy... More

If you want to stay in the first original boutique hotel of Alacati you stay here. We absolutely loved our room, size, the natural light, noticable timber and stone work all of which has been restored and kept in its original state. The room upkeep must also be mentioned, room service and the attention to detail was of the highest... More

A wonderful hotel with a terrific staff who made it feel like their only mission was to make you feel at home. They could not have been more helpful and friendly. The breakfasts were excellent and the afternoon tea with the homemade baked desserts were the best. The pool area was very relaxing and very beauiful with the grapes nearing... More

When we decided to have a vacation in Cesme/ Alacati region, we were very picky about where to stay because it was a holiday term, everywhere was so crowded, and we were looking for some hotel that is located very closed to the centre, but also in a silent peaceful area. So, after reading the great reviews online, we picked... More

A wonderful oasis if you are looking for the feeling of living in somebody's beautifully restored home. It is a very small hotel with excellent attention to detail - home made jams, great decor, and a lovely garden. We loved the home made cake served with turkish tea in the afternoon. We will return.

If you're visiting Alacati-Cesme region, Tas Otel offers by far the best available boutique hotel experience. Friendly -can't call them 'staff'- team make you feel at home. Nice, cozy atmosphere in shades of white, light blue and green will help your soul rest during your stay. Cute and spacious rooms, delicious breakfast. In the heart of Alacati, quiet and peaceful,... This is a wonderful small hotel with fantastic staff who really made a difference to our stay. They couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating and really wanted you to enjoy the holiday. 5* service. The breakfasts were excellent with an enormous variety of home made food, and was served until a very civilised time of 11am. The location is... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Tas Otel has been opened in 2001 as the first small hotel by ZeynepOzis who was one of the pioneers of "protective tourism" implemented successfully in Alacati. Ms. Ozis has questioned the 'mission, vision, strategy and action plan' steps that she has learned in professional life in line with her expectations and the answer she found was to be able to live and work away from the big cities, together with people and animals, doing physical exercise and having a balanced life and Tas Hotel, which was also her dream when she was young, came into being.Tas Otel is a century old Greek house with a swimming pool and peaceful green garden and it has been awarded as one of the best 20 small European hotels by the British Sunday Times. The hotel has an olive grove of 200 olive trees and each year olive harvesting is done together with the guests. The harvested olives are processed and served. Delicious Alacati cake with lemon is served with the five o'clock tea made with the Cesme lemons and in the winter the fireplace and the books are waiting for the guests. ... more   less
