We visited renz for a team outing. It was one hell of a trip , the beauty and the serenity of the place mesmerized us. Hidden on the hills "FARAWAY" from the husling city life this place provided us some of the best memories . Sitting under the clear night sky exploring constellations and the Milky way perfected by shooting stars ,this place is just out of a fairytale. This was all perfectly complimented by the awesome food we had at this place. A must recommend for everyone .
We had a lovely family holiday at this idyllic resort tugged in the mountains so quiet that you can hear the birds singing and your own voice echoing into the valley. From the first call I made to Dipankar till the time we bid farewell to Rishi we felt so special. Everything they do with such casual ease that you might mistake that they arent doing anything but you are so well looked after. The rooms are spacious and attention is given to each details from room heater to extra blankets to the bottles of shampoo oil body wash moisturisers and even pair of slippers that you feel so at home. The food is fresh tasty and available all day long....you can ask for breakfast at 1 in the afternoon too!! Careful attention is paid to the menu and a few local dishes are also included to…
This is what a perfect family vacation looks like. Few of us came from different parts of the world - Singapore, London, Nairobi to converge on this place and boy, couldn’t have asked for a better place. The peace and the quiet is quite outstanding, just being able to see the blue sky, the snow covered mountains takes the breath away. The cottages are great, rustic and there is attention to details with the warm comforters, heaters, slippers, water bottles. Getting there is a little bit of a challenge but ask Rishi/Dipankar and they’ll guide you really well. They run this place not like a hotel, but their old home and their hospitality soon as you get to the place is unmistakable. They left their plush corporate jobs and IIT/IIM careers to do this and it shows in their…
Hidden away in the laps of hills lies a perfect getaway destination to rejuvenate your soul. We stayed at the Bunglow and it felt home away from home. The entire place is thoughtfully crafted. Weather you want to just relax and laze around, read or capture the beauty through your Lenses, there is plenty of options available. The staff is very courteous and helpful and food id very tasty as everything is freshly prepared.. All in all if you want to enjoy the silence they this is the place you want to be unlike Shimla or Nanital which have become just another place.
Ever dreamed of having a house in the himalayas, faraway renz made me feel like it's my own. The staff, the food, the rooms, the serenity everything was much better than i expected. The rooms are much better than their pictures. The nature actually there can not be captured in cameras. And the peace, it had actually put my mind to rest, jus gazing at the mountains enjoying my drinks with the best North Indian food. They actually do not say no to Anything. Thank you rishi for the amazing holiday, we would be coming back soon... :)
No need of any spa, beautiful mother nature will restore everything here by its scenic beauty, healthy air and natural bird music... rest will be done by the tasty & healthy food and politeness of staff. I cant resist myself by coming here again and again. Its truly a home in the lap of nature in which you wish to stay forever :-) congratulations to Rishi Sanwal for maintaining Renz very beautifuly. And thanx for Mr Salil gupta for creating such a wonderful property :-)
The place hit us well as soon as we laid out eyes on the photos. We stayed for 3 days and 2 night. When we reached, it was an extatic moment cause the place came out to be exactly the same as we thought it would. We had a blast of a stay. The staff is very friendly and it had amazingly awesome food. Food was rocking here and absolutely loved the way it was served on a single big dining table to all guests. The place is quite offbeat and you have to travel about 500-1000 mtrs on a down hill kacha road but it is not that inconvenient after all since you would feel this to be USP of the place as soon as you reach. The dining place had a without area as well where you have books (novels and kids books), games (both indoor and outdoor) and small kids activity area. The property…
Breathtaking . that's what Faraway Renz is .. And that it is so cos there are times when all you hear is the sound of your own breathing. Do nothing. That's another thing Faraway Renz is ... Don't meditate You don't need it... just stare at the Himalayan ranges in front .. nirvana Family.. that's another thing Faraway Renz is.. Family time ... you surely get.. but more than that .. you are treated as a family, the staff takes care of you as family and the host ( Rishi) owns up as a family member.. my daughter almost refused to eat if Rishi was not around the dinner table.. Home.. That is Faraway Renz.. I don't know why they call it a resort.. you will be deeply disappointed if you go with that expectation. Rishi&Nidhi, Deepankar&Sangeeta. You have a winner here... just stay…
Well, there is a lot to say about this place. I will begin with the distance from Gurgaon, we drove by our own car and it took us around 9 hours to reach (including one break for breakfast). When we were only half hr away from the place it started to rain and added to beauty of the place. When we reached we were welcomed by Rishi although it was pouring heavily. We could take our car right outside our bungalow (set of 2 rooms with attached bathroom each, dining, living and kitchen area). When we saw the bungalow we were very thrilled and happy. It was perfect. The lawn in front was neatly kept and the view was spell bounding. Large vistas of Himalayas all around. There are chairs and table outside each cottage for sipping your tea while enjoying the view. The bungalow is…
