My husband found this property by chance when he googled Resorts near Nainital. It was the perfect getaway for us as we were bonding as a family after 2 years.. my children are working now, and busy in their own lives. We had booked the 2 bedroom Bungalow and it was amazing with lovely view of the hills !! The Usp of this place is the personal touch ,be it food or the personal interest taken by Rishi to show us around the Village . He even took us for a walk to the nearby jungle. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is fond of the outdoors and wants to stay in a Home away from Home!! Thanx Rishi for making our stay so memorable !!
This resort is a heaven on earth.such place had always been in my imagination and to see it come to life in this resort gave me ultimate solace.the tranquility experienced here is awesome.Solitary bungalows, red blooms with cold wind gently pressing against your face would send ripples of joy to the depths of ur heart. We resided in the bungalow which i had imagined in my dreams. Mr.Rishi ,the owner gave a personal touch. He was a very helpful even accompanied us to the trek to devarpani and made the trek enjoyable with his anecdotes showing us the “dolphin” and “elephant trunk” in the jungle. The 4 km trek was very scenic. Special mention to Prem ji who used to arrange delicious food for us at unearthy hours. The best part of the resort is the personal touch from Mr Rishi to…
A place far far away... away from all the hustle bustle of city life, pollution, traffic and populated localities. Its a perfect place to drive up for a weekend to relax in lap of nature and enjoy nature at its best. What adds to the whole experience is the warmth of the staff and especially the personal attention by the Host... right from calling upfront to share directions and check on meal preferences, to ensuring that all your needs are well taken care of, Rishi does it all with a smile on his face. You are given the freedom to chill and relax at your own pace without any imposing rules and restrictions. The food is like home cooked and we ate every meal to our hearts content. A perfect place which can be bookmarked to be visited again and again.
A long awaited trip to the mountains culminated with a visit to Faraway Renz earlier this year. We had actually planned a visit down South which did not materialize and so decided to head towards Faraway ... Getting to Faraway is the only challenge...once there..its absolutely bliss..from the awesome hospitality, breezy environment, home-away-from-home cottages and the blissful surroundings. The best thing to do at Faraway is actually to not do anything at all. Generally ambling across the grasslands, listening to the whispering pines and watching the sun go down is an extremely soothing experience. The best part of the day is actually when the day comes to an end...the warmth from the fire lit by the staff, sipping hot soup and watching the twinkling lights from far away…
We visited renz for a team outing. It was one hell of a trip , the beauty and the serenity of the place mesmerized us. Hidden on the hills "FARAWAY" from the husling city life this place provided us some of the best memories . Sitting under the clear night sky exploring constellations and the Milky way perfected by shooting stars ,this place is just out of a fairytale. This was all perfectly complimented by the awesome food we had at this place. A must recommend for everyone .
We had a lovely family holiday at this idyllic resort tugged in the mountains so quiet that you can hear the birds singing and your own voice echoing into the valley. From the first call I made to Dipankar till the time we bid farewell to Rishi we felt so special. Everything they do with such casual ease that you might mistake that they arent doing anything but you are so well looked after. The rooms are spacious and attention is given to each details from room heater to extra blankets to the bottles of shampoo oil body wash moisturisers and even pair of slippers that you feel so at home. The food is fresh tasty and available all day long....you can ask for breakfast at 1 in the afternoon too!! Careful attention is paid to the menu and a few local dishes are also included to…
This is what a perfect family vacation looks like. Few of us came from different parts of the world - Singapore, London, Nairobi to converge on this place and boy, couldn’t have asked for a better place. The peace and the quiet is quite outstanding, just being able to see the blue sky, the snow covered mountains takes the breath away. The cottages are great, rustic and there is attention to details with the warm comforters, heaters, slippers, water bottles. Getting there is a little bit of a challenge but ask Rishi/Dipankar and they’ll guide you really well. They run this place not like a hotel, but their old home and their hospitality soon as you get to the place is unmistakable. They left their plush corporate jobs and IIT/IIM careers to do this and it shows in their…
Hidden away in the laps of hills lies a perfect getaway destination to rejuvenate your soul. We stayed at the Bunglow and it felt home away from home. The entire place is thoughtfully crafted. Weather you want to just relax and laze around, read or capture the beauty through your Lenses, there is plenty of options available. The staff is very courteous and helpful and food id very tasty as everything is freshly prepared.. All in all if you want to enjoy the silence they this is the place you want to be unlike Shimla or Nanital which have become just another place.
Ever dreamed of having a house in the himalayas, faraway renz made me feel like it's my own. The staff, the food, the rooms, the serenity everything was much better than i expected. The rooms are much better than their pictures. The nature actually there can not be captured in cameras. And the peace, it had actually put my mind to rest, jus gazing at the mountains enjoying my drinks with the best North Indian food. They actually do not say no to Anything. Thank you rishi for the amazing holiday, we would be coming back soon... :)
