Had the pleasure to spend a few days at this wonderful resort in July. Truly amazing location. A great resort with all the amenities for a more than comfortable stay. Very friendly staff. Had put on a few pounds thanks to the yummy food !! The location presents itself with the opportunity to explore a few treks. We went on a 13 km trek led by our wonderful host and it was probably one of the best treks we have ever had. Will surely return again for a longer stay to enjoy nature at its best !!
Great location, great property, had great family time of togetherness. I strongly recommend this property for people loving peace and just peace. Options for village walk, trek, loved everything. So natural and well maintained. Kudos to Rishi and Prem Singh. Each one of us had great time. We travelled along with Parents, 2 kids aged 10 & 4, both enjoyed thoroughly. After coming back we are missing it, felt like should have spent more time. Thank you Rishi for great time, tea, Mangoes, Etc. etc. Definitely recommend anyone planning couple or family holiday.
We visited their in the first week of june. The property is located 2.5km off the ranikhet road and the very last road to the resort is a complete off-road. With 4 cottages and a private bungalow, the views are fascinating and service is really good. Everybody serving you ensures that your wishes are served. We stayed in the duo cottage and the family cottage. The cottages are clean and have the needful of amenities. However due to the resort being in the forest area one can witness cockroaches and lizard here and there near the cottage. A private sit-out area is provided with each cottage. Food is one of the best things you will experience here. Delicious meals are served according to your preference. It is a beautiful moment to enjoy the meal sitting outside having a wonderful…
A very nice property. It’s close to nature and very raw. Has a lovely quaint spot where one can spend the whole day. The food is homely. Never will one miss home and fall sick because of food. It’s amazing. The owner himself is very hospitable. A great place for a quick getaway
We actually wanted to do nothing. We just wanted to drive down to a peaceful place away from the scorching heat of Delhi. Till about Garh Mukteswar the traffic was problematic due to constructions. Then it was more or less smooth. As soon as we passed Ramnagar - it was all green. The trees around were full of mangoes and jackfruits. Though it says Jakh, the property is not really in Jakh. If you aim for Jakh, you'll take a wrong turn early - which we did. Place is absolute bliss. Apart from the sounds of wind, rain and birds - there is hardly anything you'll hear. The rooms are well equipped - with colonial decoration. You even get good 4G connection and cable TV - though you should ideally need none of those. The seat-out area is great for birdwatching. On a clear day you can…
This is an ideal destination for someone wanting a relaxing break in the lap of nature. Cottages with tasteful yet well equipped interiors, Kitchen that cooks to your taste, peaceful environs away from any urban hustle bustle, and perfect hospitality is what makes this place special. The personalized touch in the service and the proximity to nature helps one unwind and recharge the stressed out bodies and minds. If you are looking to relax, away from the noisy metropolis. And to move those muscles there are some lovely treks all around the place.
My husband found this property by chance when he googled Resorts near Nainital. It was the perfect getaway for us as we were bonding as a family after 2 years.. my children are working now, and busy in their own lives. We had booked the 2 bedroom Bungalow and it was amazing with lovely view of the hills !! The Usp of this place is the personal touch ,be it food or the personal interest taken by Rishi to show us around the Village . He even took us for a walk to the nearby jungle. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is fond of the outdoors and wants to stay in a Home away from Home!! Thanx Rishi for making our stay so memorable !!
This resort is a heaven on earth.such place had always been in my imagination and to see it come to life in this resort gave me ultimate solace.the tranquility experienced here is awesome.Solitary bungalows, red blooms with cold wind gently pressing against your face would send ripples of joy to the depths of ur heart. We resided in the bungalow which i had imagined in my dreams. Mr.Rishi ,the owner gave a personal touch. He was a very helpful even accompanied us to the trek to devarpani and made the trek enjoyable with his anecdotes showing us the “dolphin” and “elephant trunk” in the jungle. The 4 km trek was very scenic. Special mention to Prem ji who used to arrange delicious food for us at unearthy hours. The best part of the resort is the personal touch from Mr Rishi to…
A place far far away... away from all the hustle bustle of city life, pollution, traffic and populated localities. Its a perfect place to drive up for a weekend to relax in lap of nature and enjoy nature at its best. What adds to the whole experience is the warmth of the staff and especially the personal attention by the Host... right from calling upfront to share directions and check on meal preferences, to ensuring that all your needs are well taken care of, Rishi does it all with a smile on his face. You are given the freedom to chill and relax at your own pace without any imposing rules and restrictions. The food is like home cooked and we ate every meal to our hearts content. A perfect place which can be bookmarked to be visited again and again.
A long awaited trip to the mountains culminated with a visit to Faraway Renz earlier this year. We had actually planned a visit down South which did not materialize and so decided to head towards Faraway ... Getting to Faraway is the only challenge...once there..its absolutely bliss..from the awesome hospitality, breezy environment, home-away-from-home cottages and the blissful surroundings. The best thing to do at Faraway is actually to not do anything at all. Generally ambling across the grasslands, listening to the whispering pines and watching the sun go down is an extremely soothing experience. The best part of the day is actually when the day comes to an end...the warmth from the fire lit by the staff, sipping hot soup and watching the twinkling lights from far away…
