Really good location and lots of nearby facilities and places to eat. Usual good standards with the room and the hotel in general. Very helpful and friendly service from everyone and especially from Laura on reception
Had a 2 night stay , staff were very professional and courteous, very helpful with extra stuff for hot drinks I'm room , room was disabled accessible, room was clean and tidy , I also would like to thank the staff as I left my keys and another piece of luggage by mistake, the hotel phoned to say they had found the items and were quite fir a friend to pick them up for me , would recommend the hotel, I would have no trouble staying again
Great hotel. Kelly on reception was very helpful and kind. She went above and beyond to ensure out stay was a lovely experience. The breakfast was good, fresh cooked and clean area/tables. Bed was so so comfy.
first impression was very good and man on reception was most helpful . room clean all through. down for breakfast at 10am very busy no spare seat to be had. Pam who did everything from finding a seat to taking order was cheerful and very attentive all the while. cannot praise her too highly. will stay again at this hotel if in the area. thanks to all the staff.
Stayed here a number of times on our drive from scotland to the south coast. Always been very good but we’re very disappointed this time. Room was not very clean, laying in bed counted 4 cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. The toilet seat was horrible and dirty and luckily we had cleaning wipes with us . As the room was over 30 degs were were told there was a fan in our room. Well we couldn’t find one so went to reception to be told it’s on the shelf. Told the woman there wasn’t one there only to be told go and check again as there is. So to make sure I went back to the room...no fan. Went back to reception and told her again there was no fan. She sighed and said “well there should be” she said she would bring one to the room. Eventually a knock at the door and here was our fan but was asked again are you sure you don’t have one and she tried to look in the room as obviously thought we were lying. Plugged fan in. Was as asthmatic as my granny with no breeze at all. Then it went bang and blew a cloud of dust out and over the room! Gave up and walked over to Sainsbury’s and bought one. To finish off our evening we’re told none of the TVs were working. Will be finding somewhere else for our stop offs next time …
Stayed here in September en route to Southampton to break up our journey. Nice hotel friendly staff. In a need of a wee face lift. Handy for the M6 as it is only minutes away. Good breakfast in the morning. Central for us as we had a trip to Blackpool for a reminisce.
The staff are very friendly and welcoming unfortunately the hotel it’s dated and dirty I definitely would not stay again broken sockets stained sheets the shower room was mouldy and the wet room floor had lifted
Nothing special to write home about. Room was clean and a reasonable side. Point to note is that the breakfast is table service - which means the hot food is fresher than the usual terrible Premier Inn buffet offering
We got the room really cheap but I wasn’t expecting it to be, bad with premier inn having a good reputation. Firstly it was hard to find there was no visible signs to the hotel that we could see, we then got into the car park to find youths on scooters playing in darkness. The sign over the door wasn’t there anymore, got in there and the woman on reception was friendly got to the room and it smelt of damp it was disgusting and the room needed a lot of attention, but with the kids at this point in the day we just wanted to sleep. I won’t be staying here again but there’s a lovely one over the road so I’ll give that one a try.
We would usually stay in the centre of Preston, but on this trip we couldn't get in, so stayed out of town. Good points were the price but that is about it. Tired rooms and overall feel was not great. Learnt a lesson to plan and book earlier so we can stay in the centre next time
