Detailed Reviews
We attended a wedding and spent one night in Hotel Patria in June 2014. It is classified as a 4-star hotel, but I would say this is actually a 3-star facility.
The parking lot was spacious enough. The yard around the pond was interesting. The main restaurant was spacious and clean, and there was enough space for the dance floor. The food was tasty, except the sea food dishes which shouldn’t have been served in Baranja region in the first place. What was a b s o l u t e l y d i s a p p o i n t i n g was the staff who was unorganized and carried out things at snail's pace (e.g. half a dozen of us were sitting on the terrace for 30 minutes waiting for our order to be take and, when we finally ordered, our coffees arrived after 20 additional minutes). In addition, I don't know the rules of behavior in this particular facility, but hardly any member of the staff smiled. Some of them even had very inappropriate comments, especially for a facility classified as a 4-star hotel.
Our room was spacious and clean and the bed was more-less comfortable, but we couldn't sleep because it was too hot in the room. The air conditioning was blowing straight in our heads, so we didn’t turn it on because we didn’t want to have headaches the next day, and we couldn't open windows because of mosquitoes. The breakfast was an average 3-star meal.
All in all, if Patria was classified as a 3-star hotel, I would have been less critical because my expectations would have been met.

We have spent a night at the hotel on our roadtrip. We didn't really plan to stay, but it was too foggy and we decided to break the trip. Hotel staff was really nice and helpful. We came in late, so the kitchen was closed, but the nice waiter advised us where to get a good pizza for takout and let us eat it in the bar later on. The breakfast buffet was traditional and rich enough. The room comfy enough, the massage shower really nice.

I was surprised with this hotel. Rooms are large and spacious. Clean and cozy. Bathrooms have bathtubs with massage options, saunas, all kind of showering options. Food is tasty and there are plenty of options to choose from. While traveling there, I was not sure what to expect... since this is not a tourist city. One can go to Osijek, or to national park Kopacki rit, or to near by Hungary. Or you can stan and enjoy nature on and around Beli manastir.

Must say that hotel is really nice, excellent rooms, restaurant is great and has affordable prices. Hotel stuff is very pleasant too. This hotel is better then most four star hotels on Adriatic coast.

We attended a Wedding here in Croatia. Hotel is very nice, food excellent but the most interesting was a photo shoot in Etno Village by the hotel. Etno Village is magical and very romantic. Hotel is nearby the road to Hungary and 30 Km North of city Osijek, Croatia. Nearby is a divine National Park " Kopacki Rit" well worth visiting.

Would recommend this place. It is a nicely renovated hotel, not to many in the area are. Prices are really affordable and I would recommend this to all travelers who do not prefer private country style accommodation. Lunch was tasteful and the price really low.
