コロナ禍ですが女将さんの明るい会話と、美味しいお料理に気持ちが軽くなりました。お吸い物のお出汁の旨味や鰻と胡麻豆腐の取り合わせに感動しました。露天風呂付きのお部屋から竹生島が一望でき、備え付けの双眼鏡で野鳥も観察できました。また訪れたい旅館の一つとなりました。

部屋数も少なく、団体客がいないのが魅力。酔っ払いも、子供もいないので、大人二人でゆっくりと過ごせます。ただし、二人以外は泊まれないので注意が必要です。但し書きでは、ペア二組の同時利用もNGとなっています。
宿のロケーションとしては最寄り駅から遠いので静かです。できれば、道を挟んだ琵琶湖側（紅鮎側）に建物があると良かったな。でも、琵琶湖の眺めはとてもいいですよ。その分、どこに行くのも不便、飲み物を買いに行くのも大変です。
私が宿泊した部屋は露天風呂付きだったせいか、部屋の広さはいまいちですが、必要十分です。ベッドなのがありがいたい。部屋の窓からは、琵琶湖の景色が楽しめます。朝夕は日の出日の入りが楽しめることになりますね。
食事は、まだ、若い料理長が工夫をこらして作ってくれます。琵琶湖（滋賀県）の名産を中心とした料理です。美味しいですね。鮒寿司も出されますが、うまく処理してくれているので、普通に食べられます。椀ものはできれば、もう少し出汁を強めにとってくれると更に良くなる、そんな気がします。これからの、研鑽を楽しみにしています。近江牛すき焼きが饗されましたが、近江牛すき焼きと聞くだけで、ハードルがあがります。肉の大きさ・量ともに残念な感じ（いわゆるすき焼き屋との比較なのですみません）となってしまいました。ここは、無理せず、厚めのお肉でステーキを提供した方が得策だと思いますよ（3きれでいいですから）。
食事後は、夜食のお握りがつくのはとてもありがたいです。
ここは、家族でやってらっしゃさるのかな？

覚悟を秘めた柔和で穏やかなご主人の笑顔，
美味しさがさらに2割増しになる女将の丁寧でたおやかな料理の説明，
新しい宿を模索しチャレンジしながら，でもなぜかおもろいことを言わずにはおられないサービス精神溢れた若女将の明るさ（食事の間中，常に後ろからそっと目配りし，進み具合に目を凝らしている姿は真剣そのものでした）
hospitalityはひとの真心によってのみこさえられる，そんな暖かな気持ちに浸れる宿です．
食事は地のものを丁寧に調理され，他では味わえない楽しみに満ちていました．
訪れた方は琵琶湖の豊かさにきっと感心させられます．

新しくできたお宿で２階の琵琶湖の見える部屋付露天風呂でした。別に貸し切り風呂が３つあり空いていれば無料でゆっくりと入れます。食事処は１階で水鳥が見えたり竹生島が見えたり景色がいいです。料理の品数も多く京野菜や琵琶湖の魚など使った会席料理でとても美味しかったです。静かでのんびりとすごせました。
