The room is old fashion. Old bed sheet and sofa design. But the view out the window is fantastic. The restaurant at the top floor outlook to the Biwako lake is so mesmerizing. The breakfast is also fantastic Walk across the road and you will get near to the lake. But take the paved pathway to the lake because there... More

I had a nice view of lake Biwa. The rooms are spacious with lots of room for luggage and a work area for your PC. WIFI in the lobby. Nice breakfast buffet. The hotel is a bit away from any business center so is in a nice quiet relaxing area.

This hotel is a bid far away from town . The closest shopping mall is 15 minutes. Dinner menu starts from 4000 yen , so for people considering meal outside , take extra time to walk to the plaza and the road is relatively dark . 🙂 I love the laundry , for 100 yen for washing , 100 yen... More

Comfortable and clean. Breakfast was great with a good selection of food. The lake is across the road and a brisk morning walk was very enjoyable. No coffee sachets in rooms - this is the norm for Japan

Reasonable in rice and very clean. The room carpeting was literally worn out, though the overall hotel and cleanliness was above expectations. While the rooms are older they are well maintained. Nest time I am in that area we will try to consider this hotel. Stayed at a chain upper tier hotel in Kyoto last time and for the price this... More

We stayed a night at this hotel. We reached hotel at night time and left in the morning so no chance to use the facilities. The hotel room is big, breakfast is good, good scenery as my hotel room face the Laforet ( a big lake in Japan). I found the mattress in the hotel room is different with what... More

We just finished our company's FY-2014 Kickoff event here. It's a good place with all the facilities you need to organize a corporate event upto 100 people. Very nice lake view from the restaurant, indoor games like volleyball, badmintion, tenis & basketball. Nice Western style and Japanese style rooms. It is little out of city (near Katada station), but they... More

The hotel itself was very good but at a price of being completly out of the town centre. We had good large rooms which were clean and modern. Large comfortable beds and a good range of both western and japanesse food on the included buffet breakfast.
