I would definitely like to visit Quartz Himalayan Brothers Hotel again for a vacay. Staff are extremely courteous and friendly. Room views as splendid. The property has ample space for children to play and lawns are well maintained.
Especially in the Suite which we had booked. The food quality seems great. The location, infrastructure and the view of the surroundings from the *2* balconies of the suite was spectacular indeed. Had a wonderful stay and we would love to visit again
Away from the hustle of the town of Dharamsala, lies this beautiful little peaceful corner, overlooking mountains. I am one of those curious Indians, always ride a FOMO of best of deals in the most discreet of properties. Hence I got introduced to Quartz Himalayan Brothers. Some of the earlier reviews helped, and some did not, as contrary to some opinions, I find this place more than standard and with a lot of peace. The property has a fair lawn, open air seats, and importantly maintained. The rooms, and I believe most of these open to the mountain side, the stand out is the cosy balcony, and otherwise its pretty good to satiate a traveller's need. The food is good. We enjoyed our share of alcohol with a few good starters, veg and non veg. We dined a couple of nights, and it was pretty ok. The complimentary (or charged along the room tariff) buffet breakfast had varied flavours, from brown breads, to parathas, to cereals, to dosa and poha, and choice of egg. If I may suggest a couple insights to satiate the Breakfast Spread :- (A) Sausage (sauteed or fried) - ideally pork and chicken both (B) Specific condiments to go along with cereals long with Cold Milk (and not only Hot Milk) I love my share of food, and the review is necessarily biased towards food. And if these were the three quadrants which makes this property traveller's envy, the fourth quadrant that completes the 360 degree experience, is definitely the member of staff I have come across. 1. Pema :- I remember I had liased with you over email, to get my room upgraded on a complimentary basis, and you were most generous. And I'll really love to see yo smile a bit more. 2. Jayaram :- Remember the ever busy 8-10. I wonder how you manage the crazy hours, with efficiency and that non chalant calm. But I probably know your elixir, dont I Jayaram ? 3. Lata :- I have interacted with you probably once, but you have more than made up for Pema, when it comes to the sunshine grin. 4. Tanu :- I remember my first sight of you trying to balance that big platter you carried to our room. And thereafter your impromptu service to reserve that little hut for the evening rendezvous, with a big smile (and possibly with a bigger heart). My word, your smile is contagious Tanu. And, 5. Ritika :- (or does it have an extra 'k') Your simplicity, attitude towards wanting to serve, and coming across to us "stands out". I'll not be wrong if I'll say that I'll still miss the couple of evenings at "Quartz" and your impending presence plays a significant role. I heard you are studying B'Ed. A big thumbs up. God Bless you, and do not forget to remember me if you'll need any help, anything at all. Infact special shout to the complete team and thank you for having us at your beautiful property. I am sure I'll come back soon, solo or otherwise, probably when the quilt will feel more cosy and comfortable, but could not decide yet, if it'll be for the tranquility of the property, or the warmth of the people. Probably little bit of both.…
Its very nice hotel to stay. We are here for 2 days.Rooms are clean and ambience is very nice.Food is excellent 👌. Garden is beautiful, we enjoyed the Stay completely. 5⭐ for the team. And 1 more thing to mention is most of the staff is female, so managing the hotel very well.... Keep it up guys...
travellers pls stay away from this property.. We have stayed for 1 night and experience was really bad... Staff is good and cooperative but problem is with hotel management and owner... Poor service because of limited staff..No hot water in the morning... No tandoor option... Hotel owner is aggressive and not ready to listen it. Buffet breakfast but making people fool... if you order bread omlate it is Chargeable... I would say we regret to opt this hotel Hotel is charging 10% for room service despite poor service.
I booked this hotel for my parents on 27th & 28th Jan-22. Hotel upgraded the room for a complimentary basis. View from the hotel is just mesmerizing. There is a sufficient parking space, the hotel is slightly interior but it is ok as this will give you peaceful stay. Staff was very co-operative and helpful. Overall best experience. Will recommend this hotel for sure..
This is an uncut diamond in its rustic beauty. This is a place where mordernity melts into the natire's lap so subtly that the fine line seems to dissapear here. You can have your choicest meals or a bonfire barbeque amidst the duck laden pool. You can stroll down the step farms whilst encountrring some cherry trees. Its very near to the main road yet away from the honking vehicles. Would like to specially thank Miss Thakur, a young lady serving in the hotel who took every care for my little kid. The staff is really nice. Just that, reaching the hotel is although easy by your own four wheeler or a cab, you need to traverse a little bit of narrow lane. Parking facility is fantastic. If you're in Dharamshala, you must try this place, folks!!
Awesome stay with amazing view of the fields and mountain ranges . Though bit in the interior this place is very serene. Ample parking place with a sovereign shop within the premises . Staff was very helpful throughout the stay. Food was good and served hot . Both buffet and Ala carte facility available. 3-4 mins Walking distance to Norbilingka institute .
Had a great experience, very supportive staff and had pleasent stay. Special thanks to Tanu Thakur who was wonderful and supportive through out our stay. Thanks to all, we will cherish this experience for long.
Location: - Awesome location when you look at this place from the perspective of a nature lover who wants to wake up to the sight of gorgeous mountains, water streams running right by one side and tiny farmlands stepping down all around. Also, the place is right next to the Norbilingka Institute. - Might not be the best of locations from the perspective of a 'tourist' who would love to see a bazaar right next to the property and a smooth motorable road leading right upto the reception if not to the room itself. The usp of the place is that it is right in the lap of nature, one would need to walk a bit to get to the shoping areas but that never feels like a chor and infact adds to the experience! Hospitality: -God level. The owner, Mr Choniyang, is a very very helpful gentleman, always there to assist. The same goes for others from his family and staff. Tanu, Jayram, Parash, Ramesh and everyone else from the Kitchen and front desk are hard working and they do so with a smile on their faces, that's something to really learn from! Cleanliness: Absolutely full marks here. Property is kept at it's best look always, rooms are clean and your requests are answered promptly. Get around: Norbulingka Institute is a walking distance away. Check with hotel owner for good cafe/ pizza/ Japanese food joints nearby and they will be more than happy to assist. Also, one can take the trail right beside the hotel to follow the small water stream that runs by and treak up to the nearest village. The serenity, peace and natural beauty is worth the walk!…
